That said, in the still absence of an official statement, after I calmed down, I can totally see this as the end.

I almost feel like one of the few readers of this manga who was not shocked by that last chapter in the least. The way the plot has developed over the last couple of years has been scruffy to say the least.

Hopefully this break will give the mangaka some ample time to think things through. I for one hope to see the writing return to its pre time skip goodness.

I'm guessing Bartholomewt is referring to the "End" notation at the end of the chapter and relating to how the author will take a break with that to continue a new story. However, if all the follow-up by people to the publisher is to be believed, a new chapter of Claymore will appear in next month's issue.

Of course, personally for me, I will not be truly calm until I actually see that new chapter next month. Only 2 weeks remain to find out.

Btw, for going forward, I am going to bet that they will finally return to Claire/Priscilla blob and tell the story of what was seen.

Another spoiler came up, this one at least probable (except for the Rimuto part but it might be mistranslated). But I'll wait until Gene confirms it or we get a chanlation (Chinese scanlation). If it would turn out to be true it would mean that not much happens in this chapter and we will have another talky one (which might be good thing actually).
