1. Again, pre-Shadow and Sunrise, so they're just having fun and hanging out together here. D'awwww, they were so sweet and happy together before all the angst came.

3. Inspired by a comment Dezo jokingly made to me once (I forgot about what) as to how Vivio would react if she ever saw Lutecia wearing glasses. Remember how Lutecia's fandom nickname is "Loli-Rider", then remember how Rider wore those glasses.

4. Based off a common scene I often see in movies and in manga, where when a character is wearing glasses and kissed, the character's glasses are either removed completely or pushed up into their hair. I honestly don't know why it's done... maybe it's harder to kiss a person with glasses because they press into your eyes or something? Ah, well.

Awwww, sweet, happy fluffiness! And hey, there's three perfectly good bases (or two, depending on how you're counting) that they can get to before they run into problems with the age difference...

...Now, Nanoha may be a different problem. Although it's usually the dad who's supposed to be overprotective, and canon seems to give Fate all the father tropes in that family...Maybe that's why I wrote Nanoha as the overprotective one in the shorts you had me provide to "Never Been Kissed" and "Never Confessed," just because I can't see Male!Fate.

With regard to your author's notes...My very first reaction was, "Hey, this works; it reminds me of all that Rider fanart where she's in glasses." Then I read Note 3. Lulu can totally do the Hot Librarian bit.

As far as kissing people with glasses goes, my wife and I seem to do just fine kissing for hours without taking ours off...

Other than /m/ (which has some nice Nanoha threads occasionally), I was just around on NanoChan and FF.net. NanoChan errupts into flame wars at the mere mention of Yuuno's name, and FF.net, well, the newest review you got for Private Lesson pretty much sums it up.

Heh, it is kind of funny that a reviewer took the time out of its busy day to flame you in a review. Though to be fair, you've basically signed yourself up for most of the crap you get at ff.net. You genuinely did up and troll the NanoFate fans with "Sweets Songs Forever"--the first Nanoha fic you posted at ff.net--and with rabid, lunatic shippers, poking them once will turn them into a raging pack forever and always.

Amazing how they always post reviews anonymously when they're going to whine and complain about how a story isn't about NanoFate, huh?

(Props to Alavon for his/her review there, by the way.)

I'm a little split on this. On the one hand, RB has invested over a year in working on this couple, exploring them, their relationship, all the little details between them that make them a real pairing, and turning them from a random idea in one fan's mind into a shared universe with at least three writers (and a fourth writer who borrowed some concepts, with RB's approval). It would...I don't know...just be right if RadiantBeam was the one who took Vivio and Lutecia to that next level. Plus, she's a great writer.

On the other hand, she's pretty uncomfortable, still, with the idea of lemon writing, and I don't think it's fair to push her into writing that just because I want my Sankt Kaiser/no-longer-loli-Rider yuri porn.

You're right. That was what I was thinking. But if RB is still uncomfortable then it's okay. We'll wait when she's ready. Just like Vivio and Lutecia; all three of them will make a giant leap forward...together.

Well, I usually think the idea of finding happiness despite such a horrible tragedy is generally uplifting... or at least bittersweet. But if people were moved to tears, I suppose I should take that as a compliment.

Actually, it was the 2nd. Ace Enforcer was my first (though people still consider that a troll fic since I turned into Fate/Yuuno). But yeah, I know I deserved the harsh treatment at first, which is why I openly apologised (and still do). I was young and stupid and realised my mistake as soon as I woke up the next morning. Ask BPHaru about it and she'll tell you I sent her (and others) apology PMs right away and removed my offensive comments. Trolls by definition aren't repentive.

But it's been over a year since then, and I've never done any trolling like that again, so I think we should let bygones be bygones. Unfortunately Dezo is correct in that one poke is all it takes to black list you forever. So long as I don't write NanoFate exclusively, I shall forever remain a 'troll'. Well, if that's the way it's gonna be, their forgiveness isn't worth it.

Though I'm sorry if I keep bringing this stuff up. Laughing away such criticism is how I cope with it.

But anyways, I've gone and posted Life Goes On at FF.net.

And since Alavon has decreed it, I shall write more of this universe!
