Naoto's highly possible will updated at future release; my guess it will be the Drive, faster Drive release but less strength.
Hakumen is the most interesting IMO. Now there's barrier when he's dashing, allowing him to take more offensive measure.

OD became more important as now we can also trade it for a powerful super, nice addition.

Uh... Nine won't be playable until December. She currently only appears as the final boss of Act 1. Signs are pointing to Izanami being the boss of Act 2, what with Nine telling almost everyone that they should defeat her.

How funny, from what is known about her playstyle she actually somewhat resembles Dormammu. Although a better comparison would be Invoker from Dota.

D button activates spells based on accumulated magic in Active Slot.

Her controls are different from other characters.

For most characters:
A= Weak Attack
B=Medium Attack
C=Strong Attack
D=Drive (Character specific attack or mechanic)

Nine's character specific mechanic uses all 4 buttons instead of just the D button, hence why its said she has no drive, so for her its:
A=Water Magic
B=Wind Magic
C=Fire Magic
D=Unleash Spell

A, B and C attacks add magic attributes to her "Active Slot" on hit or block (or whiff while in OD) up a maximum of three, which determines what spell she unleashes. There are 19 spells from magic combinations and an additional spell for when the Active Slot is empty, totalling 20 spells. In addition to the "Active Slot" she also has a "Stock Slot" and she can swap the magic between them.

Nine is very intersting indeed, pretty innovative mechanic for fgames. But I'm sure only half of those spells will actually have some use lol, only time will tell...

S-tier hardly comes from boss character (exception for Take-Mikazuchi, LOL);
My guess Nine will be at A or B-tier at her best with Hazama and Jin still leading at S-tier.
