Interesting, I didn't think they'd come out with season 2 so fast after Code-E. It was a decent series, I wouldn't mind staying up to date on it. I do remember being left on a sort of cliffie after the last episode.

Er... Wow, the mood/genre couldn't have had a bigger change...

Anyways, it was a great episode. Somewhat nice to see the characters again, the music is as always, and the action was great.
Not sure if Miharu will appear again, since this seems to be an introduction episode about the settings (assuming the viewer hasn't watched season 1) like Type-E.

Personally, I'd like to question the fashion sense of the person who designed the suits...

OP was, as always, lyric-less... Animation-wise, I prefer Code-E's. Lots of new characters show up in it...
ED was... ( -_-)...

It seems that slimy "bad" guy from season one is possibly going to play a big role again... He hasn't aged enough to see any difference...

That might have been the best anime scream I have ever heard -- because it was more like a real scream. I believe that was Asakawa Yuu (Sakaki in AzuDai, Chitose in KimiAru, etc.), playing Miharu.

At first, I thought this was just the unlamented Code-E in a different genre, but it came on in the second half enough that I will be back next week.

Watched Uta~Kata? Masumi Asano sounds like she ruins her voice in episode 11. Doesn't quite reach that decibel, but I still felt sorry for her.

One of my early favorites in the anime world. I went back and listened (18:32). Great scream. But under more control than this one, as befits such a professional voice as Masumin's. As I relisten to the new one, however, I begin to wonder how much was done in post-processing.

Now THIS is what I wanted from Code E. I was expecting some magneto-type sh*t when I first watched Code E, but come the end I was like "That's it?".
I'm loving how the other characters carried over, and an excellent choice of animation for the ED.
One thing I hope will be revisited in this...

are the Brinberg twins. Was Mils pwned by the falling debris? If she died, is it possible that Adol is in cahoots with the bad guys because it was Chinami's fault?

Code-E is the original, aired last summer. I thought it was terrible. ^^;

Indeed, it was bad. The catchy OP was misleading - I was expecting an at least decent ROD copypasta, but instead got a bad, actionless high school romance.

It's not licensed, so you should try finding it somewhere and watching it in your free time. It wasn't exactly amazing, but it was okay. Plus, there will be references to Code-E in Mission-E, etc.

Wohew, that was pretty interesting. Not as much action, but the story does progress and there is development. And there was a little comedy too.

Well, at least I know who a few of the characters in the OP are (Maori's family, and that evil looking guy).
It was quite interesting that the Foundation was using the material from that village in Code-E to build the school and attempt to create Type-Es though that... Though that guy (who's name I still don't know, hurry up and update the official website) seems to have already known it wouldn't work. And now he has dispatched some new guy to do something.

It's too bad Maori's family isn't like Chinami's family, but at least they try to interact with her. It's the other way around that's the problem... Well, she's improving here a bit.
Note to Maori, don't destroy light on the ceiling. It's dangerous~


Preview: Type-E hunting continues... What, I understand that woman from episode 1, but do they really plan to tell next episode's girl "Here, come to our company and train your powers like some Shonen manga and you can go out to society after you finish"?
