It doesn't say anything of the sort. The bottom says "TV anime 'Saki - Zenkoku Hen', check page 254 for the latest information. Kobayashi Ritz x Igarashi Aguri's 'Shinohayu' ..." where the rest of the message is cut off.

Hisa's match gets more and more exciting with every chapter. I'm loving it.

The threat posed by the possibility that Yuan might go bust any moment makes it as thrilling as that time when Kana reached 0 points. Maybe even more because in this case Hisa is actively contributing at pushing Yuan further down. I hope this will end well for Hisa.

The part that is cut off just says that Shinohayu and Saki Biyori are published at Monthly Big Gangan the 25th of every month and they are highly praised series. No ShinoKanna anime yet but that series just started let's give it more time.

Kanna changing was so cute and that it freaked her friends out was funny. Also i'm glad that Kyouka actually did go and watch the match, which I expected her to do since she's so nice. Eveyone should thank Shino right now!

Also, I hadn't noticed, but Shino is pretty small, isn't she? Kanna and Kyoka are both taller than her.

Yeah Shino is 138 cm's (4ft 6) right now and Kanna is 145cm (4ft 9) and Kyouka is 146cm (4ft 9.5). Also had to laugh at one of the girls saying Kanna has become a woman now.

I do really like how she got herself out of her own rut. Ok, maybe with bit of Googling

But still...man, I'm really liking the Shinohaya crew more than the others. I agree with you Req, both Kanna and Shino have shown that they're very self-reliant, and that's pretty refreshing. Kanna with solving her own personality stuff, Shino says screw it and makes her own mahjong set, runs to the tournament without a car, etc. Really good feels all around.

I'm not just comparing them to the other Saki players either, but also tons of other mangas/shows out there where the characters can't seem to do crap by themselves.

I really hope this gets an anime!

I don't know, in my experience, this lund of show ends up being regarded as boring when its made into an anime, not to mention we'd have even more whining about where's the mahjong is. Besides, we haven't even seen them all grown up, give it some time.

Now I'm wondering if we'll see something with Hayari next.

I gotta say great season ender episode... it confirms couple of things...

The blondie girl have pointy hair and red eyes just like Saki and Teru... she must have Miyanaga for her family name... no, I wish she do... what could her name be?

The cell phone Saki is using was Hisa's... I can't remember being stated in the manga... I always thought they bought one for her...

The wheelchair is really burning... sinking wheelchair is out...

The last scene was really a teaser... is Teru ready to have a talk with Saki?

Spoiler for Saki: Even as Hisa recieves a pretty good hit from our resident loudmouth making use of the bad waits, not only does our beloved buchou keeps composure, but the two of them start chatting quite happily inmediatly afterwards (good thing Mihoko is on first name basis already), showing how calm Hisa is despite the dire situation and how much more Hiroe respects her now. For all the mouth she has, it looks like Hiroe trashtalks you only when you're actually trash. Speaking of, Yuan is proverbially pulling her hairs out, and with good reason, as the chapter ends with Choe about to unleash the brunt of her powers, most likely on her. Meanwhile, in the past... wait, what Spoiler for Shinohayu: I think at this point is obvious Ritz is trying a more mature approach to her characters this time around, and Kanna is the best example of this: not only did she learn that can you can keep your pride (as awkardly intense as it can be ) without being a jerk to the people around you, but she did it all on her own, without the need for some big breasted girl to lash on her or some cool pimp sempai playing mind games (the contrast between these girls and Saki-san just amazes me), just a willingness to admit your own shortcomings, even if it takes a while, and actively work to correct them. With a newfound passion, a rival to defeat and good friends around her, the future seems bright for Kanna. Now start making her some decent food, Shino. OH MY GOD IT'S THE JETTY SCENE. Nodoka meets the Achigas... yeah yeah I've seen this twice already, just get on with it. Damnit, Gokumi, you had to show us Shindouji's tears again.
