Given that this is Haruhi...drugging seems like an unlikely answer. Especially with the reaction going on the following day. Itsuki's weclome back, or maybe hello for the first time in a new universe. Yuki wanting to go the the library again. Mikuru apologiesing like crazy thinking it was her fault (then getting playfully cosraped by Haruhi afterwards), and Haruhi's ponytail attempt (with Kyon's observation of said ponytail and her waking commentary about his own "dreams".

Besides...Haruhi uses green

They're all lying! In the case of Haruhi, Kyon did something while he was drugged up that had a similar effect on her! Or, alternatively, they were both drugged, and experienced an effect similar to a folie a deux!

Nagato drugged the tea she gave Kyon when she first invited him to her house, but she accidentally used too much and he fell into a drug-induced coma. Therefore, everything is Nagato's fault.

The only thing that really happened after Kyon drank the tea was him briefly waking up to see Nagato, who didn't have her glasses on at the time, staring in on him. Everything else is the drugs.

Wait, did he meet Koizumi before or after Nagato's speech in the anime? I'm actually pretty certain Koizumi came after. That would mean that if Kyon was still sitting there tripping away, then Koizumi is a complete figment of his currently demented mind. Koizumi doesn't exist!
