^ I can't state much evidence, since Korean studios never makes animation themselves, and even if they make it, it is shitty due to horribad-story line (and aimmed for 7 year old kids) when animation itself is superb. Recent 100% Korean produced animation is Ghost Messenger, but I haven't watched it. From what I heard, it does have childish + bad story line overall, but animation never falls behind Japan.
They mostly do subcontraction work for Japanese studios, but it never relates to actual quality of the series. It actually better than average most of the time. (sorry that I can't state evidence for this, since I need to cut might internet soon enough) For instance, Sunrise and Madhouse subcontracts Korean studios A LOT. However, relating quality of Chaos Head and Korean studio subcontract is simply ridiculous, when conti-play, sakuga hokai, story going to Andromeda is all related to main Japanese staffs. I don't know how Steins;Gate will go with subcontraction, though.

Steins;Gate BD is listed in Amazon, and its pre-airing hype is simply amazing. Preorder ranking is extremely high, knowing that the episode hasn't even aired yet.

I actually pre-ordered the CD single of S;G anime... However I got an email 2 days ago that is delayed already... again before the season starts. So I guess the BD release dates are also subject to considerable changes under current circumstances in Japan. |
