For those uninitiated in the way of the classics music, that piece is the 4th movement from Dvorak 's Symphony No. 9 composed way back in 1893
Now back to the topic here, I now question the replay value. Demo feels too much like an 2D old school shooter from the era of Capcom's 194X series of games. Look now, As much as I like to give this game some praise, I always tend to find something's missing. Last edited by MakubeX2; 2012-01-11 at 19:46. |

Sorry Bayo, Dante and Kratos Fans. Asura takes the cake in pure power.
Being half way through I've deduced that Asura's is pretty much unkillable by any means but putting him to peace or being nice to him. And by nice i mean help him in any way.. even if it means sacrificing your self. I've also deduced, THIS GAME IS AWESOME

I don't know about you, but I pay $60 for a game with the expectation that it will last me at least 3-4 rounds in total.
For Asura's Wrath, what is left after going through the story (with no skills and weapons to upgrade either.) the first time ? I'll only get this title provided there is a GH release costing as much as a Blu-Ray movie. |

Gamefly for the win
I wasn't going to buy this game anyway, its a perfect rental. Same reason I rented GoW and Bayo, I'm not one to unlock everything in games such as this, Woo a sluttier outfit or play as dark kratos, bleh. That being said, its better than both of those games imho.

I'm convinced, I'll either rent this or buy a 2nd-hand one. but still, I'm intrigued about that Street Fighter DLC thing, I wonder if I could get to play Asura SSF4 style. that'd be great

Just got the game.
Pretty much the pre-order DLC are "gauges" that Asura uses. 1 fills up your rage meter quickly and the other gives you a rock solid defense. It's pretty much an anime series turned QTE, Shooting, hack and slash, beat 'em up fighting game. Oh btw this news. Anime Asura's Warth DLC, Asura's Wrath Signed Art Giveaway constes and.... http://www.capcom-unity.com/asuras_w...d_Art_Giveaway http://www.siliconera.com/2012/02/20...ime-cutscenes/ http://www.siliconera.com/2012/02/16...-going-to-get/

i just finished it in one sitting. white it was pretty short (about 5 and 1/2 hours on easy) it was still pretty satisfying.
its so completely over the top retarded, i love stuff like that^^ the gameplay is pretty rough around the edges though. sometimes asura simply didnt do what i wanted him to do. but it is still very playable! on the PS3 version the framerate took some serious hits though during the cutscenes! no idea of the xbox version has the same problem, sometimes these issues are mainly a PS3 thing so i dunno. my thumb is probably gonna fall off though because of those damn quicktime events... and the shenanigans they pulled with the endings were pure evil! XP but its begging for a sequel... i hope capcom allows that! i hope they wont be like "oops, first part didnt sell well!" an can the whole thing... i wanna know how the story goes on! DX some parts of the story also werent part of the gameplay. two of those things are already announced as DLC but they are really just rather unimportant filler stuff. but the other things would definitely be awesome for a sequel to top the first part! i really hope this turns into a series and wont stop as a single game. with a little more polishing this could be simply amazing! |

The game is bad or good based on how much enjoyment people got from it, not how the content must have for the sake of being a game.

Um, that's not what I was insinuating at all. And even that WAS why I thought FF13 was bad, which it is NOT (I want to make that VERY clear), how would that make me (or any one else who might think that way) "too young"?

Because there used to be games with a lot of content, but it's just bad. I don't know if you ever heard of Unlimited Saga.
And too young in my work means you haven't played that many games. I didn't mean your actual age.
