Akamaru is told by Kiba to place the explosive tag, and
on page 158, the sound fx over akamaru is him panicking and slipping. He is so scared that he can't even move.

Why can't a dog or cat slip? Do you think animals slip any less than humans?

The real question is: where was Akamaru hiding that explosive note?

And yes, he transformed pretty quick. I guess that was to keep the pace of the manga up a bit, since it's obvious he not going to win against Naruto and the others without using the curse seal.

Anyway:

Animals slip less than humans.

Ninja Humans slip less than regular humans.

Ninja animals slip less than regular animals.

Therefore, I expect Akamaru to slip far less than I do Kiba.

Also, is Tayuya a guy? I always thought Tayuya was female. It's hard to tell without the character voices...

u kno maybe im stupid or somethin cuz i didnt quite follow what happened in the manga.....where did that huge crack come out of? Did the guy with lvl 1 curse seal make that?

But the very end that was really cool, when Kimimaro appears...

I think that was just a natural chasm. They fell in it because of the explosion.
