Okay, I've been looking at this thread, and at a bunch of Wikipedia articles, and here's what I think.
Jonathan Lipnicki as Naruto - This came up near the very beginning, but he was too young then. Liam Aiken as Sasuke - The guy from A Series of Unfortunate Events. Kristen Alderson as Sakura - Not sure about this, just an idea. Jonny Depp as Kakashi - Great actor, and definitely has the voice down. Bruce Campbell as Jiraiya - Just because. Hugo Weaving as Orochimaru - May seem odd, but remember, Orochimaru is fifty, or at least his face is, so it's gonna look kind of old. Normally, he's just a cartoon, so it's hard to tell Catherine Zeta Jones as Tsunade - Just an idea, again. Haley Joel Osment as Gaara - Maybe won't work too well, but whatever. Logan Lerman as Shikamaru - Maybe Cayden Boyd as Konohamaru - Somebody else could probably find better Orlando Bloom as Kabuto - Again, just an idea. Jude Law as Itachi - Since Sasuke isn't Asian, Itachi doesn't have to be either. Tayler Lautner as Rock Lee - He would be great for this role: both a young actor and a martial artist, and if he's not Asian, he looks close enough. Jason Scott Lee as Might Guy - For lack of Bruce Lee Adam Beach as Iruka - I always thought Iruka looked kind of Indian. Mitchel Musso as Kiba - Kind of a Disney Channel actor, but gangsta enough. (needs a haircut though) Robert De Niro as Sarutobi - Not sure myself, but he seems the most popular. Hugh Jackman as Asuma - Wolverine from X-men Kelly Hu as Kurenai - Looks just like her. As a big fan of dragonball... and watching the trailer and almost gasping in despair at the butchering of Toriyama's work, I don't think it's possible for Hollywood to recreate Naruto with a live action cast... firstly hearing naruto scream "shadow clone jew-sue" is bad enough.. but seeing some white american attempt to pull off our favorite hyperactive loser would be horrible... we have all seen forbidden kingdom, where the white kid tries to do kung fu... there is a reason that movie needed Jet Li and Jackie Chan:S
But if i had to choose a few ummm shippuden naruto = Zac Efron hahaha tsunade = Jenna Jameson  and ummm tenten as Pari Hilton coz they are both useless lol |

Well personally I think manga was turned into anime and not live-action movies because you CAN'T turn a manga into a movie,half of it is based on facial expressions and supernatural elements... |

Deidara and Itachi
for Deidara you could have one of the Swede triplets
Izzy, Keli, Rock any of them'll do  Deidara    (Best one I could get of Izzy, bit big too) Swede triplets As for Itachi he could be played by Bill Kaulitz, though he'd have to have his hair down  Itachi  Bill Kaulitz So they would be good for Itachi and Deidara |

Oh lord, Naruto live-action movie? It might be a bigger flop then Dragonball.
But thank god it's never going to happen. Simply no producer is crazy enough to do that. Not even if he is in Holland and is high on the finest crack in the world. |

^ Naruto has a credit card?
 The Last Airbender was a total piece of crap that got poor reviews from just about every critic. Yet fans still went to see it. It still will probably end up making it's money back. So I can see studio executives getting excited about a Naruto or Bleach movie. Even a movie the critics destroyed, still will make money because the cartoon has a solid fanbase.
