Well, after seeing this thread at the top, ands then finding a few other posters in here who I know faaaar too well, decided to check it out... and did not regret! the only problem is, so far only 6 chapters have been scanlated, and the way they end ch.6 made me curse that more chapters haven't been released

also, I'm just basing this on the chapter titles, but I think 8 will be when we finally get Aoi to be the Limiter... personally, it's driving me crazy that they're pulling the 'he-wants-to-be-with-her-but-she-rejects-due-to-a-threat-from-those-above' plot... dammit, just make him your limiter already! he looks like he can kick ass when needed (and boy, does he need to, it would seem...

actually, this gives me an idea of what could happen... but this isn't to the point where I can start with fanfic on it, even though I already have ideas swarming

Volume 2 looks awesome by the way. After Ch 6, things go up a notch a bit. Tsundere confirmed!

Basically, Aoi out-gars everyone. With his freezing power alone, he's able to stop the senior and her limiter while ending it with an emotional speech and all. Pretty standard shounen stuff, but it's good to see the story reaching finally this point... since after that, he finally becomes Satellizer's limiter the next day.

There's also a new character from Tibet, all dressed in traditional garb too. She seems so out of place right now, but I wonder if she's being set up as a possible rival to Satellizer.

Stuff happens, but once again I'm surprised at the feats of violence some characters pull. I don't mean that in the sense that they're that gruesome or anything, just that I didn't expect certain acts to be pulled off in the manga. One example would be that one time when the previous senior (I forgot her name already) is about to sexually harass Satellizer, with, and in front of her limiters on the roof.

After all, Aoi becoming Satellizer's Limiter isn't such a big step in terms of the universe set up thus far. I'd like to see where all these rumors of Satellizer's Limiter-abuse originated and how they adapt to each other. Honestly, this reminds me a lot of an old anime I watched years ago; something about teenage girls being paired off with guys to pilot these robotic suits. The roles were reversed there but things played out along a similar path.

More than that though, this world is set up in the midst of a great conflict. They have a real Tenjou Tenge atmosphere going on right now, but there is an inter-dimensional war going on out there and that's specifically what they're training for. As of yet, I think we've had maybe a slight glance into the appearance of the enemy and nothing else. What happens when they get onto the battlefield?

At any rate, any thoughts on whether we'll get a second series to this? The atmosphere seems geared towards this kind of "combat-high" setting and yet we know that there's some "intergalactic war" going on just beyond this academy. The mood overall seems to different to fit into one series.

I found the exact key words by typing in the hiragana spelling on a P2P program. Not enough sources, so I just googled it, an lo and behold one file hosting service has it.

Yeah I read up to 18 just a little while ago myself. The 'rival' is actually a very good one for Bridget. I have to say, this manga's pretty darn violent. I mean, a guy shooting a girl in her legs, constant face punches - it's crazy. It's what Mai Otome should have been but failed...

After Aoi stops the fight and makes it clear to Rana that he's already decided whom to pair up with, Satellizer and Rana now have to face their seniors. Too bad Aoi gets knocked out. He could really help in such a situation.

Man, is it only me or are all the women in their school so awesomely GAR? It's almost like, with the possible exception of Satellizer, each of them is a potential S... if you know what I mean.

I mean, just look at them.

What can we say, Aoi has very high GAR levels, which is needed to impress any chick at this school.

I still have to give props to Rana. She's brand-new and willing to take on Bridget head-to-head and she does a very good job - they're nearly even but like Ingrid's mentor refered to her before - Bridget is a monster. If you go after her, she'll maul you - and now, if you go after Aoi, there'll probably be no bones left...
