Pointing out something insignificant on a technicality = nitpicking. Obviously anyone who refers to Shounen as a genre does not mean it in the conventional sense of mystery, adventure, or what have you, but is pointing out how the category/demographic has created its own subset of stories in Japanese media and can be considered its own genre in a sense. Now like I said, stop nitpicking. This isn't the place to discuss whether Shounen can be considered a genre or not.

You know, the latest PV makes me look forward to this series' OST very, very much, especially for the BGM that plays in the first part. It just sounds so heroic for some reason

@fertygo: I noticed that too. They definetly seem to be trying to win the anime industry so to speak or at least dominate all aspects of it. Don't forget Colorful too as their seinen piece. It's nice to see a studio stepping up huge for an ailing industry like this and hopefully it works as a jumpstart/pace setter that gets the rest of the industry back on its game and being competitive as opposed to putting all eggs in the adaptation basket. |

@ Kaioshin I'm just happy that there is as much variety they are bringing out now, hopefully they maintain this trend for as long as they can rather than just this year.

This thread has been rather lacking in premises, so I translated the summary of the first episode (which is more often than not the premise) from the website. Please account for a margin of error.
Aruma Tandouji, 17 years old. After a certain event in his past, he wanted to keep away from people as much as possible. One day, Wakana Itou, president of the Crystal Club, attempted to recruit him. She also invited him to the museum, but Aruma refuses. Ruri Aiba, CEO of the Aiba Foundation, appears at his home, and tells Alma that he has the power of the Sacred Seven, the only force that can oppose the Ashi, a group of monsters.
