Then they should practice harder. Tsubasa said the choices were made based on skill, and while Chieri may have been good when the 77th started, the rest of the generation needed work, as we saw. If they're being put in over the 76th, then I don't think there's any excusing the older girls. They've been there longer, and have had more training in all aspects of their jobs. If they're behind the 77th, it's a failure on their part.

I doubt the 76th gen is bad at all. You aren't chosen to be an understudy if don't have any talent and surely the 77th gen didn't outlevel them in the short amount of time they're around even if they are more talented.

I agree. Chieri is an exception, since we already knew she's the most skilled of all the understudies except Kanata, but I think they probably picked the rest of the 77th gen over the 76th due to Sensei-sensei's reaction to them, as Tsubasa noted in episode 7.

The 00 Light sticks are special though. Gonna leave a detailed trans for the usual translator, but it have something to do with the Kirara (seems like they gather energy from the fans also making the Kirara glow brighter, or something like that).
