This is great news. I've been wanting Karneval merch for quite a while and this ensure this. Although I wish it was for winter not spring, ahh well. Tsukumo goods on the way, I'm excited.

Hmm, Nai sounds a little different than how I imagined (I expected more of a stereotypical cute boy voice) but I think I like it.

Can't say I'm a fan of the pale, vulnerable-looking, white-haired protagonist. Is it a fad nowadays (No.6, K)?

Not really? A fad implies that people copying each other, I don't know when K entered production but No. 6 was based on a series of novels that ran for years (and Shion is described as having white hair in them) and Karneval's manga has been running for a few years as well. And three shows over the course of almost two years (by the time this airs) hardly seems like a fad....

White haired characters have been around forever just as long as pink and blue haired characters.

Also I don't really see many similarities between Nai & recent white haired characters you named but to explain would be a spoiler. But to be brief I think "cute" is the best descriptor for Nai.

Trailer was kinda decent with some good music but nai sounds...really annoying for some reason. Haven't read the manga but the voice really irks me and i usually like hiro shimono.

Reminds me of when he voiced Emil from Symphonia 2. Certainly not the voice he used as I've heard in Ben-to or Binbougami.

I actually have mixed opinions about Nai's seiyuu. I am not really sure if he can pull off Nai's cuteness/innocence but then again its only a short clip. I am sort of surprised they didn't have a woman voice Nai.

Although this is the drama CD cast & the manga-ka was really fond of the cast so this goes with her wishes.

And it doesn't matter because Kamiya's Gareki & Miyano's Yogi will make this for me.

New trailer!

ANN has some better pictures of the character designs, I have to admit I was expecting a lot of the side characters to have totally different hair colors.

Well now, that's interesting - Miyu-Miyu doing an ED for an anime he's not acting in? That's a first as far as I know.

He does have a part in the drama CD so I suppose he will be in the anime. It's a small part but I guess you can say it is important.

I was kind of surprised by it too but I guess instead of having the main seiyuu of the series singing they wanted to pair him up with Kamiyan again as they are already a singing duo. Who knows maybe they will be releasing a new CD in the future.

Well here is an example of them singing together

I wonder if this is a sign Lantis is trying to push for their Kiramune artists to have anime theme tie-ups.

I was afraid this was going only to be one cour. Honestly there was a perfect place for them to end the series but I feel they needed it to be 2 cour to get to that point.

Anything before that would just be a horrible point to stop or they would have to make something up.

Just 13 episodes? But but...I hope they don't do a original ending at least (but maybe it is to much to hope for xD)

"Nai searches for someone important to him, with only an abandoned bracelet as a clue. Gareki steals and pick-pockets to get by from day to day. The two meet in a strange mansion where they are set-up, and soon become wanted criminals by military security operatives. When Nai and Gareki find themselves desperate in a hopeless predicament, they encounter none other than the country's most powerful defense organization, "Circus"."

Definitely something I will watch! Karneval on!
