I'm not really sure whether posts like this are allowed or not but if they aren't I hope the mods could make an exception just this one time. For little Kairin-chan's sake.

Anyways, today (as you may already know from the title) is Kairin's first birthday. It was 1 year ago today that I finished colouring the first picture of our cute mascot for the contest. Unfortunately due to time constraints I was unable to draw a picture for Kairin today. She was a bit sad but understood but I still felt bad. So I thought that maybe if I made a thread and everyone gave her their support, that would make up for it.

So...

I believe we're all saying "Time flies" (me included, when I read the first post) because it doesn't seem like 1 year that we're seeing Kairin here.
And that's exactly the point

, since Kairin-chan popped out .. like .. in june, so barely six months have passed. Correct me if I'm wrong, Kiva

Although I do remember her face as Kiva's avatar past year, Christmas time. At that time, we were all cluelessly wondering who she was

Wow. It's hard to believe that it was a year ago that she was born. It must have been just a little before we first met. I can't claim that it was love at first sight, but she quickly grew on me and the other moderators. It was the fact that we liked her more every time we saw her that finally made us want her as our mascot.

Happy Birthday Kairin! I hope you share many more birthdays with us in the years to come.
