Welcome to the episode discussion thread about this week's upcoming episode which Vicious, Dranz or I will try to post this thread every Wednesday, since it’s the day the episode airs in Japan.

For the people who don't know about some of the spoiler tag rules, this thread is marked as “Anime” in the title, so you don’t have to use spoiler tags. However, there are some exceptions.

You MUST use spoiler tags when dealing with the episode until an actual credible sub appears. Discussions in this thread can only involve the current and previous episodes. Members who are caught including events that take place after the current episode in their post will be handed a ban.

Anyway this is what you should discuss in this thread:

Expectations of the episode if not aired or if you haven't seen it yet.
Announcements of which fansub groups have released the episode regardless if it is a RAW or Subbed.
Your comments on the episode if you have seen it both RAW and Subbed.

Just to make it clear there is to be no making new topics about the above things I have just showed you. I will close them down because I made this thread so all the posts regarding this topic will be in one place.

Furthermore, I'd like to ask people to let me, and only me, do the Episode Discussion threads every week. Why? You may ask. Mainly, to avoid confusions and 10+ threads of eager people doing the episode threads. So, please, don’t make episode discussion threads without Vicious's Dranz's or my permission.

So there you have it, just to summarize and add new tidbits of rules:

There is to be no flaming each other, no posting links that allow others to download the licensed Manga or the anime raw episode, no spoilers for future events of the Manga that take place beyond this episode, no annoying questions asking for seeds, ZERO unnecessary spoilers, and try to keep it on topic.

It was ok. I have seen better. From what I understood, Aoi (the supposively strong rain nin) is a jounin.

This was a good episode. A couple of points from this episode and the preview for next week:

Spoiler:

This filler arc may just be able to fit into the plotline of the manga well enough that it won't stand out as not flowing very well.

You are correct, and I believe it is the last of the filler episodes.

Nope, there are 2 more. Next week is Sasuke's battle and the week after the race finishes. November 3rd is then the first non-filler.

naruto did a shadow repication with regsenga with 1 hand ... omfg... this is crazy... there is also a new opening and ending ... i don't like them though...

...... naruto looks so ugly when he tried to kiss sakura.. O.o

So the good time is just refusing to end. Is it too much to ask for Sakura-chan to go back to her useless self and pick up her "Sasuke-kun" line, Sasuke-kun's not making any faces, and Naruto to be not dumber than usual? So how painful was it for you to watch Sasuke-kun's coming apart like that in the Kakashi-revealing-his-face episode. Yeah, even I felt pity for Sasuke-kun in that episode, at the brutality of the whole thing. My ranting is done and over with. I just hope the recent episodes are better than that one. That Kakashi-revealing-face was the worst filler ever in the entirety of Naruto and I like filler. Even Sakura-Ino's flashback battle was thousand time better. I mean it.

The Kakashi-revealing-face episode would have worked if it was used earlier somewhere... o_o But as it is, it wasn't a good place to be. ^_^;

At least the Tsunade filler eps fit, because they're away from Konoha, and travelling back, so they could fit it into the long journey back...

No it's not. it's just a parody of an earlier episode, and not a very funny one at that.

Rasengan-y thing underwater and quiet a few clones being able to make it was a good indication of how Naruto might use both of the high-level techniques at the same time to fight a strong enemy, which brings some questions with it...

uhmmmmm. Nope

However that sound the red octopus made was hilarious!

It's hard to discuss a pure filler as it really can not relate to the over all story line.

Timing IS everything!

By the way you say "Tonight" I gather it's Night-time were you are?

I say don't be like me, go to sleep it will be done by the time you wake up and also you will get good speed.

But if you're a freak like me then I don't blame you for staying up all night checking every bt site you know, even though you know all you have to do is check AnimeHeavens site since no one else is as fast as they are, but you are still checking anyway.

A couple of points from this episode and the preview for next week: Spoiler: The power of the Rasengans underwater and the preview next week with Sasuke facing off alone against the Rain nin both were seemingly done to get Sasuke back into a state of mind and condition to fit back in with the manga arc. This filler arc may just be able to fit into the plotline of the manga well enough that it won't stand out as not flowing very well.
