Well... Close enough It's a split cour like TWGOKs; the first season was in Spring while the second was in Fall of the same year.

Dog Days had it's own quality issue; it might not be as prevalent, but I know there's one or two episodes that suffered badly.

The last concert? Yeah, but the BD fixed it sooo much that now it seems beautiful.

Up 'till Volume 5, it's kinda like a prologues of introducing characters. From 6 to 10, it is slightly more focused on the action rather than school life.

Thats good, I read some others novels and I get bored of the school life issues.

Though I only remember the battle scenes, so it might seem to me that battle sense get more important.

However, I know that surprisingly, the planning sounds a lot like Aria. 5 volumes for a "prologue", then a 2-volumes arc follows, like Reki's...

I like the plot summary and hopefully it will be like the IS animation wise and no HnA. I'm disappointed with that adaptation.

So anyone know if this is going to be one season or two season? I hope they won't fit 5 volumes in one season.

Since I wish that Campione! will be made by Seven Arcs, it will be into split 2-cour.

Though it would be very difficult for a series like that to get 2-cour directly, unlike SAO or Horizon. Also, unlike those two, Campione has relatively less material. So this is likely to go for 12-13 episodes. Even IS, with that huge amount of sales, does'nt have a second season planned.

Since I always dreams that Campione! will be by Seven Arcs, it will be split 2-cour like previous Seven Arcs works, such as Asura Cryin' and Sekirei do.

It's not really triggered by emotion. More like he has to meet certain requirements/costs to activate each of his powers.....

He slayed the military god Verethragna and was granted his dominion/abilities. In this case, Verethragna's 10 incarnations: Wind, Youngster, White Horse, Ibex, Phoenix, Mountain Goat, Bull, Camel, Wild Boar and Warrior.

Some of the requirements are simpler to activate. For example...

The "Bull" incarnation grants superhuman strength of equal or even surpassing that of the opponent. The activation requirement though is that the opponent must have strength beyond the level achievable by Humans (a strong martial artist who has trained for decades won't cut it....he has to have Hulk level strength to activate it)

"Wild Boar" let's you summon a huge celestial beast (A black boar). The activation cost is that the target must be of a huge size. (probably the simplest to activate, since there's no limitation on what the huge target is)

Some are trickier...

"Mountain Goat" grants control of Thunder & Lightning from the heavens...but the activation cost is that the will & desire of all wielder's comrades (be they alive or dead) must be one/aligned.

The animation in general is stiff and uninspired. It's polished enough on a technical level, but no amount of polish can correct mediocre artistry.

Character art is okay most of the time though (White Album was bad in this regard).

Still better than most of the usual series, it has acceptable sales afterall. And artistry is subjective the are the inhuman spines and tiny hands from K-on characters yet is called art .
