Can Touma's power be passed on? If he really does die, and the power is passed on, it will obviously be passed on to a baby/unborn child, thereby setting Aleister's plans back by several years.

But that isn't to say that this sort of thing hasn't happened before. After all, if Aleister, the most powerful of all Magicians was nearly dead at one point, then I think somewhere someone had to of defeated him. Maybe the original holder of the IB?

Well I heard somewhere I.B. existed before with a differente name.

If touma died and ended up with I.B. being passed onto others. It would end up the same as zero no tsukaima. When Jose died. It passed onto to the new girl. The power of void.

I wouldn't count on that event.

It's impressive how wild people's speculations are running despite the fact that we have ZERO intel on the next volume....

they usually come out 3-5 months after the previous novel around the 10th of that month

Many times speculations came true. If you have the time many speculations on this thread became true with the time a new volume was being released.

I just realized, the author really likes the 30th as a date, doesn't he?

Volumes 4, 12, 13, 20, 21, 22 all take place on a 30th.

And then the author adores numbers that end in zero as well. Most of the really important days take place on a day with a zero.

That timeline is wrong.

Vol 4 was over 2 or three days, Vols 9 and 10 are on the same day and unless I missed something, Volume 11 was not 4 days long. Unless you include Touma's hospital time.

For that matter, did Vol 1 really take place over 10 days?

Meeting with Misaka = 1st day
Index and styl = 2nd
Komoe sensei's place, bath house, Koari = 3rd, 4th and fifth.
Touma was unconscious = 5th, 6th, 7th.
Mindwipe = 7th (or was that eighth?)
Hospital = 8th or 9th day

Unless Touma was asleep for a full day, which is possible.

EDIT: Ooh, I see now. Vol 11 is classified as 4 days beacuse Touma recieves the tickets (and therefore the Prolouge) on 25th, and ends up travelling back to AC sometime on the 28th, in the very early morning. Still misleading though, as absolutely nothing happens on the 26th, and Touma winning what I expect to be a rigged game is the only thing to happen on the 25th.

Still call Bull on Vol 10 though. It should be 19-20th, if you include epilouge, which would push a number of the others one further too.

... Volume 10 takes pace the same time as Volume 9, but I think for the sake of space, they put it on the 20th. Either way, it doesn't disrupt the timing. After all, each lightnovel states what day it is when it takes place. So it's kinda hard to mess it up.

I don't mind the fact that speculations are being made. My issue is regarding how baseless those speculations are becoming. In the last couple of pages I've seen nothing but wild ideas that had little to no foundation at all!
