I remember she says that but also soon after she says she feels embarrassed because they look like they are on a date, that even though she doesn't want her ends up thinking of him as someone of the opposite sex and that during that date she will try to identify the feeling fluffy that she's feeling.

So I don't think she's completely immune to Kiyopon charm.

If I recall, the author, Kinugasa, stated that the series can go for 30 volumes (10 for each grade) should sales and his health permit.

So Year 2 will likely also be 10 volumes long.
