I dunno if that counts as a spoiler, but as ...pulls go, not that big of one. People are already being pulled into a game-world which did NOT have VR capabilities, and the computer technology is at our level.

Mamare hasn't updated the web novel since the beginning of May.

Unfortunately, no, not since May 7. The TRPG and the SNG are updating like normal, though.

[EDIT]: Just kidding, a couple hours after posting this, Mamare updated the web novel twice and concluded volume 10. I think there's a part with Charasin that wasn't in the anime, but it's basically Eastal's perspective on forming an allegiance/truce with Westelande.

We also got more information on Kanami's husband. He is from Germany and is part of Doctors of the World (so presumably, he traveled to Japan at some point, met Kanami, and fell in love); Kanami moved to Europe to follow him and decided to study there.

NHK would have to wait for book 15 to be done for that, so if they did, we wouldn't hear about it for a few years I don't think.

Well, as long as they haven't given up on the supposed last season of the story (since Mamare apparently stated that the story would be 15 volumes), and they manage to get Satelight or a studio as good as that one to do the adaption, then the wait may end up being worth it
