It's alright

Anyway, how tall should I make him? Climactic duels can be very stupid when irish reaches only up to chest height.

160 cm

Not impressive, but not too short either, considering his age, a bit taller than Cecilia but shorter than Houki. He's somewhat on the thin side too (assuming the suit didn't make him look bulky)

scrawny versus bulky. Tiny versus huge are actually very climactic. You just need the right imagination.

So, don't feel too relief yet.

Either way, I will be laughing my ass off if it doesn't happen. Even if it did happen, I got nothing to lose anyway, my life isn't really fantastic anyway.

@ Senpai and Demi - His biggest fight later on is with Victor, and he's 6 foot tall along with being reasonably fit. Irish's original height is about 4'10, and he's scrawny to boot, so how would their height comparison go? Nevermind the fact that Irish is tripping balls during the fight due to a drugged knife being stabbed into him.

what hypes a fight? Who are fighting? What are they capable of? What are their reasons for wanting to fight each other? How have you portrayed them to the audience? That's what sells it for me, not physical comparison.

@ Demi - Hmm, well it's not a good guy versus bad guy fight. The Shadow re-write implies that Irish has some degree of insanity in him, just not in the normal sense: Victor seems stereotypically insane with being somewhat bipolar, volatile, and extremely violent; at times even acting childish. Irish is shown to be uncaring to an almost sociopathic degree since his first reaction after getting stabbed with said drugged knife is simply to pull it out and emotional damage such as being belittled or being subjected to a speech about how much he sucks barely gauges a reaction.

Insanity vs Insanity.

the biggest part is you need to make the audience pick sides. Show them why these characters matter at all. Or else you'll be walking them into an event that just... happens. All for the sake of progression. Build up for the climax so to speak. I haven't really read shadow so I can't say if you've already built up enough. Zero can probably tell.

@ Demi - Irish wins out solely due to being forced as a good guy on threat of explosive detonation. Victor shows signs of sadism and enjoys violence, whereas Irish shows neutrality. Granted it still shows Irish is an asshole, but he's not supposed to be very heroic. Ichika has that role.

watching kung fu movies where the asian hero has to fight the villainous westerners. The height gap is pretty much the same.

@eras: height comparison. Small a is Irish and big A is Victor. The lines represent their backs so they are facing each other. I think.

All Kyrios (reusing old name) Drones unit has this material installed in their processor. To complicate simple matter: This Satelite use solar energy to excite an crystal inside the Machine to generate high amount of energy. The said energy is stabilized by its inbuilt system to allow the Machine to fire an intense beam that can create a large carter on the moon..... Now for mostly crack: Spoiler for Hidden Faction: A chain is only as strong as its weakest link. Robotic Aliens: Their Existence were kept secret from the world government because experiences from world wars, clearly indicate that when face with threat of a war on Global scale, most people are not going to stay calm. They would panic and lots of things would happen.... society would collapse and Men would finally lose their place in society (refer to last section) The aliens are also the source of the Quantum Element. For some mysterious reason: They produce the Element. Scientists believed that they use the Element to communicate with their species from out-space. Since they are machine, their food are mostly Electricity. However, they still need water and air, though they use water and air for cooling down their system. Unlike your typical aliens, they are smart. They first establish a base in cold region (South pole) where their larger unit don't need to open their cooling vent (the only weakest in their armor), allowing them to be technically invincible. They are intelligent enough enough not to go after the Super-nations. Instead, they target humanity's weakest link: Third world nations whose army isn't powerful enough to take on them, so that they can establish factories and produce enough units to overrun the Super-power nation with superior numbers. The overwhelming kind of numbers where tactics and advanced technology no longer matter that much. (meaning thousand of units coming in nearly endless streams). Good luck trying to stop thousands of factories producing hundreds of these units every minute. ======== Based on data extracted and decrypted from one of them, there are various types. Relying on IS is a seriously tough decision for any Commanders on the battle field: They can choose to deploy the ISes, which proven to be the most effective way of taking down the aliens because they can one-hit kill the aliens regardless of their armors. However, this means sacrificing men's pride and surrendering to the female gender. It is self-admitting that men are useless even in war. So for the sake of preserving the moral of their men, most commanders usually choose to send their men rather than relying on IS. Only in the most drastic situation (Large size units such as the Tank) would they be forced to deploy IS. Edit: For the male: Surrendering is not an option because the Aliens deem males as useless. Why? Males can't give birth.
