Shino was doing his best, but was it good enough.
It's time Naruto stepped up and did something. I'm sensing more and more people are getting indifferent towards this anime. Well, I agree because flashbacks, fillers and occasional fights are just not cutting it. Maybe it's time for this anime to take a break. Oh, and Naruto's rasengan was not good enough to save this episode.

i prefer AU fillers anyway. i dont like when the anime team bulks up canon story arcs with crap. i say just pause the canon and do AU stories like the recent one with kabuto's ET and the kids. so they could easily fit filler into the end of the war if it's AU

It's unlikely they will do that kind of fillers at this point, it's pretty clear they want to avoid them. The real problem is that the current arc has been going on for freaking ever, so they don't have much choice when it comes to fillers.

More flashbacks....... again.
This is getting really old. If Naruto doesn't step in soon and ends the war.. Can't figure out if they're just stalling or are trying to remind us of the good old days. Spoiler for plot:

It appears starting with this episode, the next month of fillers will be flashback fillers that mostly take place in Part 1. For instance, Naruto bumps into an Edo and remembers him from Part 1. Cue long boring flashback.
I don't mind war filler and actually liked the Sound Four arc. But flashback filler is another story. |
