That would be one epic plot! I'd love to see that.

did Ciel really die at the end of season 1? My guess is that Sebastian probably will make an appearance in the second season because he's not dead or anything, right? So it's a question about Ciel still being alive or not.

Ahaha, he did...okay. Never mind then. But I guess with a new master and everything (if it is really a new master) then the plot will most likely be anime-only. I'd be surprised if they integrate any of the current manga plot without Ciel and Sebastian.

Personally, I believe that Ciel died at the end of the first season. But that's just me.

If you're asking me how I can have a dead Ciel thwart the new young master in my epic plot, the answer is simple. My epic plot occurs before Ciel's death. Heck, maybe it even happens before the manga story starts. (The only bad thing about this idea is that means no shinigami!Grell / Sebastian interactions.) My point being that nothing I've heard yet says that the second season will follow the first season chronologically.

See the thing with Ciel's death at the end of the first season, they could easily just do a reset and have him appearing in this season. I seriously wouldn't be surprised if it happens, especially counting the amount of times it's happened in the past. It would be a shame, because for me it would ruin that fantastic ending to the series, that stays with me even till this day.

A prequel of some sort before Ciel''s death...hmm...that would be interesting, though a bit sad because we know what his fate will be.

Although I wonder if season 2 could possibly occur in parallel to season 1 timeline - with the camera following Alois now instead of Ciel and we may see Alois and Ciel cross paths in the street or something.

Was there any hints in season 1 about what may happen in season 2? Like Sebastian sensing another demon butler? I should find time to finish season 1. orz

What I dont get is where did the idea of this come from? Did A-1 Pictures plan killing Ciel off in season 1? Was that how the anime was gonna end from the start? If thats the case, did they ever really plan on making a s2? Maybe they didnt but cuz the DVD sales were so well and the manga sells well, they decided they had to make another season. But to me it still makes little sense.

Im not holding my breath that Ciel and Sebby, well at least Ciel, will be in s2. Makes me wonder more if will see Undertaker, Grell or anyone else outside the Phantomhive household.

I have a feeling well see Sebby at least once, he's immortal.

I think it would be better to just show side cast members such as Grell of Undertaker, though if the second season is going for a clean slate, and wants to have nothing to do with the original material, then i guess i'd be fine by that.

Midly OT but someone on the Princess Tutu comm was talking about an award Nana Mizuki won and Id forgotten she voiced Rue in PT and obviously TakaSaku was Fakir so us PT fans will get a little reunion

Makes me think Nana will pull off a guy pretty well since Rue's voice was much deeper then Ahiru's. Even a shota guy

I am convinced that no season 2 was expected when they were planning season 1. Season 1 feels so finite to me. I can't image such anyone creating such a feeling knowing that a season 2 was or might be in the works.

A Kuroshitsuji without Ciel and Sebby is pretty sad >_< Maybe they'll show up since I've read some theories on some sites that Sebby wasn't able to take Ciel's soul because his right (or was it left?) arm has been cut off. I can't remember though on which hand does the seal/contract is.

If the second season's a clean slate that means most characters from the first season will not appear. Meaning no Greil, Undertaker, Will, Finny, Tanaka, Bard, Meirin, Agni, Soma and even Viscount Druitt >_< No~~~ I want to see Undertaker's face and Sebby's true demon form. And more Greil.

Makes me wonder what catchphrases will be on the anime. And are there any artworks or description about the antagonists?

I'm probably the only one who looked forward on Nana-chan voicing a boy...sounds better then I expected. TakaSasu sounds really good, but then I never heard him much other then Code Geass and Junjou Romanica.

I wonder would the new master actually get a character single this time round? Maaya doesn't do character singles (whether it's her contract or not). I will laugh if Nana started singing her enka style..

Well, it looks pretty but it looks so similar to the original Kuroshitsuji that I'm not sure if I really enjoy watching it. Hope we get some more details on the plot before it comes out.

The funny thing is those are the two roles I have a hard time associating him with since he doesnt use his normal sexy voice (ie Shito, Alzeido, Kanda, Kusuriuri-san, Haruka) for those roles. I remember being floored when I found out he was Misaki in JR
