If the voter total exceeds 3000, and 2nd season of Haruhi runs during October to December season and if there is a scene where Yuki blushes, I see nothing that can stop Nagato Yuki from winning the tiara next year. Fate might suffer from the 'No Repeat Champion Syndrome' among the voters, and Lucky Star actually garnered lots of ill will from 2008 Japanese Saimoe. Next year might have even greater percentage of characters in ISML coming from Kyo-Ani, and we may have to embrass that reality.

Never underestimate the fervor of Yuki fans. Just a scene of Yuki looking up to Kyon in the episode " Day of Saggitarius" made hundreds, if not thousands of anime fans all over the world roll around the floor in moe bliss for Yuki. Imagine what a blush can do to those who are crazy for her.

I can't tell you what would happen to me if Nanoha and Fate kiss in the upcoming movie. Die, most likely. NanoFate fans would decrease dramatically, because they'de all be dead.

Problem is that we have no 'Canon' literature to base that kiss on. Yuki's blush is written and drawn in the original novel series, thus it will take a miracle for it to not appear in the 2nd season of Haruhi. However, I do admit, that kiss is one of few things that may put the breaks on Yuki's dominance. Other things that can challenge this is

2. Hinagiku's Clock tower scene with Hayate ( this is #2 since #1 is the kiss )
3. New Season of Suigintou where Suigintou resides in Jun's residence with other Rozen dolls, and Suiseiseki traps her and Shinku up the stairs, and attempts to make her surrender by hording the food.
4. Horo 2nd season
5. Fate/Zero gets fully animated TV Series and they make a Saber special.

The biggest problem is that I don't yet see any new series that has shown Moe Impact level comparable to Fate, Yuki, or Kagami. Please educate me on this if you believe I am wrong about this.

Just the idea of it happening(Canon or not) would be more than enough to cause mass genocide among NanoFate fans. Of course, It's not going to happen...


Yuki's already massively popular, and despite not having new anime material in years, her fan-base continues to stay strong - Especially so since TMoHS is one of the most popular series this decade. That's not to say she can't become even more popular, though...

trust me, you only read about it, and see a static picture...but the explosion of moe datat that comes out of Yuki in novel 4 is over 9000, and I guarantee that after Haruhi S2 ends....if Yuki doesnt get 1st in ANY of the tournaments....i would be GREATLY surprised

Book 4 just does so much for Yuki (or Yuki 2.0 if you will). It makes you want to protect her more and more as the story goes on. It makes Kyon want to protect her more and more as the story goes on.

I can't remember Kyon's monologue at that moment by heart. I'm sure it is in the translated pages though. I recall that Kyon is practically moeing to Yuki there and trying not to....resistance is futile.
