This might not be an odd request, but can people start linking to the images instead of posting them?

Loading all those images takes a good amount of time on a slower connection. ^^:

/me punts his school for having a wireless service slower than 56K

Spoiler tags don't make a difference, you still have to download the image file within the tags.

I agree! But Rei in black looks, IMHO, better.

This figure took me a long time - and a lot of 500 yen coins - to win from one of those crane game machines.

This is a big image at 800+ KB in size. Be warned.

Do you think they wrote "Dears" on the sign just for fun?

Ah, you mean these ufo catcher machines? It's pretty good for being just an ufo catcher figure.

Heh.

I'm guess I'm pretty unique in that I want my figures as close to fully dressed as possibly. I think I have only one figure that is even in a slightly suggestive pose. I think it really detracts from the figures when the selling point is how little clothing it is wearing. >.>

Hi,

I was wondering how most people assemble these garage kits? What would be the best type of glue to use? Do most people prime the pieces before painting?

Thanks.

I dont understand. what do you mean by that?

Anyhow, how do you guys take care of your figures and statues? I mean some collectors just keep them in the box so they wont get damaged, but thats no fun at all. I heard that figures do turn yellow after a period of time, cause of the sun light and what not. Is this true? Where could I find glass display cases anyway, is it safe to use a book shelf to display the figures and statues?

Depends on the series, if it's an ecchi series then I wouldn't mind having a figure in a suggestive pose. If it's an action show, then I do not think it's appropriate. As long as the figures stay in their characters' profile it's ok for me.

for example : a To Heart character in suggestive pose would be somewhat shocking while an Ikkitousen figurine wouldn't bother me at all.
