Annnd Gotland apparently drops in E2, which is a multi-phase map. Farming on hard mode yaaay. - I don't know which node though.

Johnston on the other hand has been sighted on e3's boss node, so she should be easy to farm.
Medium's rewards aren't known yet, but looking at easy vs hard, the latter really doesn't seem to be worth it this again. Basically just 1 more new midget sub with a few levels on it. Then again we don't know if it does anything special when equipped to mini Ashigara.
It feels especially weird when comparing it to E2s hard mode rewards which are actually worth the bother for people who didn't get certain things through ranking.

A lot says she's Johnston. Single glove as a nod to her captain having lost his hand, and the Z flag on her ribbon, only 2 ships in Taffy 3 have had a final Z in their callsign, White Plains and Johnston.

In case you are still doing e2H, don't bother with the shortcuts in phase 2.
Going through node Q and then just Nagato+Mutsu -ing Node M is much less painful than going through Node the double Re at U.

Edit: Johnston dropped on my final kill in E3. Now back to hunting Gotland...
Maybe she'll come if I use Bismarck :P

BTW Johnston can OASW on lv 1 without any equipment AND If you equip the 5inch MK30Kai +GFSC together with another radar she can even AACI.

I cleared the event a couple of days ago, currently at E3 farming, and finally got my Teruzuki!

This has got to be the most anti-climactic clear for me. Friend fleet actually killed the boss for me.

If I could, I would give you gladly the one I got from the Killing phase, I am still searching for Johnston even after more than 80 farming run. The one thing than keep me pissed aren't the ressources or tome spent but all the Arashio, Choukai and even a Aoba, the mundane drop I get with a S-Victory.

I know the feel,pretty much what happened with Gotland for me last time and even now - Johnston was surprisingly fast to join my fleet (LD)

By now I'm feeling really guilty towards everyone w/o a Teruzuki as the only thing I can do with the dupes I keep getting is using them in modernisation - Same with Bismarck and Warspite dupes last time

Who the hell came up with this brilliantly stupid idea of requiring LBA dispatch for the AS to count for the starting point unlock in E2? Finally after X sorties had a fleet make node N only to discover that it didn't count... The only reason I'm bothering with 甲 is because I want the 5inch単装砲 Mk.30改＋GFCS Mk.37. For E3 I already know that I'm rolling with 乙. Have neither the time nor the patience to deal with 甲 BS for the medal, 3 screws and 4 upgrade points.

For the chipping phase, I have put Asashio instead of 1 one of the DD I used for the final run.
as long as it is the chipping phase, you could do without route ASW support. If you planned on doing it in 甲, you are going to need to open the path to ZZ because the dysons or re preboss will be more frustrating. When going ZZ, after a ridiculous number of hoops, you need to find the balance between ASW and damage for the final boss, "helped" by the historical bonus.

Howver, even a run that went smoothly can still be ruined by the boss or her escort one-shotting your BB. Because you ARE going to need Nagamon Buster or Nelson Touch. You may check my replay for more fleet details. I used the standard fleet DD and BBs for boss support, and 2DD 4CVL like Shinyou, Taiyou, Bay and Zuihou for ASW in route.

In my case it isn't Teruzuki but the 2 Gothland and 3 Yahagi than make me feel like a ass; both were hard to get drop when introduced and still good ship to have even without second remodel and I am here still getting more and more piss as the one ship I want fail to come. But the real problem isn't he great but unwanted drop but the mundane one than came with a S-Victory. At least the commond battleship and CV/L are still good for modernization.

I might be the only guy here whose clear this event was due to friend fleet... Makigumo killed the boss for me.

How it happened was totally out of the blue but saved me a lot of grief. I had 5 escort ships available to yasen anyways, and probably would have killed anyway.
