I am surprised by the lack of support for Nadeko in the nominations list.

Anyway, here's mine:

Nadeko Sengoku (Bakemonogatari)
Shindou Chihiro (EF: A Tale of Memories)
Amimiya Yuuko (EF: A Tale of Melodies)
Shihou Matsuri (Sola)
Senjoughara Hitagi (Bakemonogatari)
Mito Mashiro (Tayutama: Kiss on my Deity)
Tsuchimiya Kagura (Ga-rei Zero)
Isara Gunther (Valkyria Chronicles)
Iriya Kana (Iriya no Sora, UFO no Natsu)
Murasaki Kuhouin (Kure-nai)
Kou (Wagaya no Oinari-sama)
Isuragi Noe (True Tears)

I'm still wondering if I should have swapped the last two for Kanon's Makoto and Denpa Teki's Ame... I guess this sort of dilemma is what I get for refusing to give up on mostly forgotten characters like Iriya Kana.

And if it's any consolation (probably not

) both Makoto and Ame were last-minute additions that bumped Noe and Chihiro from my list; I figured that their replacements might have better odds (though Ame's chances look bleak). So thanks for putting Noe and Chihiro up there at least

What you mean? Nominations need to be done in the ISML website. Here people just post what they plan to nominate or they just share with others the nominations they did via the website.

Are characters from So-Ra-No-Wo-To eligible? Episode 1 has aired as of the 4th.

I would say, the series would have to air and the character would have to show up no later than the last day of 2009. I don't believe they would be eligible.

That reminds me, the official start of Ladies vs Butlers is in 2010, but I think the first episode may have been leaked before 2010. My nominations were already made, but where would those characters stand? Wait until 2011 or is it enough to get in to ISML 2010?

I already read from Crisu's news post that the nominations results are expected to be out sometime within a week after nominations close. Does that mean we'll get the results as soon as the nominations are counted?

Assuming it's a different date, like last year, when will we find out how many nomination the top 100 (or more?) characters received?

It would be more consolation if it hadn't been Chihiro that you cut. It's hard not to have a soft spot for the character the first girl I confessed to cosplays.

Also, was I the only one who did the same sort of double take Juu did the first time Ame is depicted without her hair covering her eyes?

YES! And was I relieved

Actually I didn't quite feel the moe until I saw her eyes, and then that cinched it

I tried not to nominate girls whom I did last year who struggled through the nominations, like Chihiro did. It pains me to see girls I like get mistreated and disrespected like her and also how Yurie was toyed with in ISML's regular season. I think with Makoto I was just feeling stubborn though

I'm really hoping that Noe makes it in, though I get the feeling that she'll be treated badly if she does. I'll support her though

Sora no woto started too late to be eligible. Ladies vs. Butlers had its 'pilot release' around Dec. 30th by AT-X and other large scale sources. As far as I understand, the characters who appeared in that pilot episode is eligible.

Yeah even new anime that start earlier like Chu-Bra!! and Ladies vs. Butlers! eligible for ISML, no one will nominate character from this anime after watch one episode except for troll...
