Yes, which means it'll be very satisfying when you kill them. Because they stay dead.

Jokes aside. I'm really hoping that it would pull the strings of my heart and make me feel for the character, and watching him/her die would definitely immerse me into the MMO like no MMO has done before. Can't wait.

I really should be less lazy and keep an eye out for this thread and post any news I find here...

Oh well, a bit of Jedi gameplay footage should spice things up:



I really like the consular's voice, it has an old ring to it. Maybe now I can finally make my aged Jedi master and not sound like some young pipsqueek.

I think I fell in love with the Jedi Guardian's armor progression I also like how dual-wielding is played out in combat.

i only get emails from them when its a big news. i missed a lot so i started to just check it every thursday with MMO report too.

Yeah, half-battle half-Jedi robes are beyond awesome. The ones from KOTOR 1,2 were also great but these are even better.

Today's updates are a fan friday and a behind-the-scenes peek at environment polish. Not much, but the Q&A revealed some interesting tidbits.

A: For players who wish to play a cover dependent spec in PVP, there are abilities that give them some pretty significant bonuses to mitigate the fact that they are stationary. There are also abilities that help keep enemies out of melee range while in cover.

Agents and Smugglers who prefer mobility can select skills that makes them less cover dependent and more focused on other abilities like stealth, poison, and close range combat.
Always good to hear, especially for me since an agent will likely be my first character. I'm glad to hear that usage of cover will be rewarded rather than hindered.

it sounds like it'll an interesting element to gameplay. But seeing as I *suck* at FPS games, doubt I will play the class, I'd duck at the wrong time, pop out and get sniped in the head before you can say "whoops!"
