First impressions from just finishing this episode. All mistakes - and there will be some

- are entirely mine.

Overall, this is an episode that goes into more details as to the series's plot and introduces new characters. Very little fighting involved and a lot of talking (85:15 in breakdown).

I'm going to need to rewatch this episode. I don't remember them introducing anyone on the Earth side of this war.

Sounds to be a good episode with a lot of story in it. And off course Athrun who starts fighting should always be good. Look for me to post the Raw link when I find it.

Ah, cheers. I'm severely behind on my readings. The JPN/ENG dictionary is a real pain to use, having to count the number of strokes in the kanji and all.

The episode sounds good.At last we see Dearka and Yzak back in action *cheers*

Nah they probably live in Japan or somewhere else where they can with it on TV.

The raw will be out in a couple of hours my guess.

Downloading the raw now. Seemed like a nice episode, but.....why does it end off with Athrun, Shinn and Luna launching off!!?? I want to see more MS fights....can't wait for the next ep.....

You can normally get the raw pretty fast in those chinese bt sites. But all I can say is the quality's not that good. But its better than nothing.....

Yeah, the better-quality raws should be out on BT shortly. The Japanese file-sharing networks, I'll be surprised if not, should already have it - although to be honest, I don't know why it would since it's on TBS; everyone in Japan should have this channel available.

wao, I got very little out of this episode from the conversations myself, so you're not alone.

Nah....he just lost an arm...I mean the Zaku's arm.....again. He won't die that easily. Besides, he don't seemed like fighting. He seems more like....negotiating or preaching those ZAFT soldiers who tried to make Junius Seven crashed into the Earth. Man...why did it end like this....I demand phase 6!!!! One interesting thing to take note....Athrun's green Zaku is not fitted with the Gunner pack. It's using Zaku Phantom's backpack instead. And when Rey's announcing his departure....I thought I heard him saying his name as "Laser". That's the confusing part about japanese pronounciation. Hmm....anyway, the ending of the preview...it said Gaia this time instead. Wonder how many more MS name she can continue saying

Very little fighting involved and a lot of talking (85:15 in breakdown). Spoiler: - The remains of Junius 7 was kicked out of its orbit by ZAFT troopers toward Earth. No one in PLANT seems to be aware of this till it had already happened. - Yzak's ship (and squadron?) was sent to investigate and destroy it. Minerva was also notified. - I now know why Gilbert was so chummy to Taria. The two were in bed with one another - literally - when she received the call; no frontal nudity, people, so minds out of the gutters please. - Cagalli is, IMHO, hopelessly outmatched by both Gilbert and Shin. Gilbert is too good as a politician, and Shin is just too angry. It also doesn't help that she isn't very good at handling direct verbal attacks. - Can someone please translate what the kid with the orange patch in his hair had said in the briefing room that got Cagalli so angry? Something along the lines of "no great loss" about Junius 7 hitting Earth, I think. - Deakka's squad, sent to Junius 7 with explosive charges, was ambushed by ZAFT mecha after they landed. - Shin, Lunamaria, Rei and Athrun launches from Minerva. Athrun is piloting a Zaku, which should be the one that he had piloted earlier and now repaired. - Gaia, Abyss and Chaos launch from Grity Lue. It now looks to be the start of a 3-way battle. I'm going to need to rewatch this episode. I don't remember them introducing anyone on the Earth side of this war. Well, then again, I think Gilbert was just manipulating Taria's weakness (I think she kinda likes him) just as a part of his Greater Plans For Evil Stuff. ^_^ Looks like a good ep, but if there's so much talking then I may not get much from the raws... then again, I'll try... Murrue <3 Maybe I'm still biased cos I hate her character design and her voice :P Murrue was 10000x better, I thought she was one of the best looking chicks in SEED (better than Lacus and Cagalli for sure), she had a great voice (what else, from Kotono Mitsuishi) and she was such a nice character...) Gilbert himself is pretty cool - but while less so than Taria, I still didn't expect him to... you know, either... And if what LynnieS is true then damn, they've really cheated all the Yzak and Dearkka fans... __________________ Thanks for the fish
