Hey sorry if this has already been asked before, but can anyone give me reccomendations of what tamiya colors i should use for my MG Freedom. I'm currently thinking about XF : 1,2,3,4,7,8,54. and X : 22. Any other suggestions. I'm still not sure if i just use the sticker for the eyes. I know i missing the greenish gray color but i couldn't really identify that one. If you would reply^^.
PS It's because I cant read the japanese paint guide that came with the model >.> edit: Forgot to ask. Do you guys primer your models. I used to build models and I've built around 5 gundam models before but never really wanted to paint them until i got this. So I know how to paint. I've jsut generally never heard of people priming their models on this forum. |

I've used 2 products to strip chrome off my models. When I did my Akatsuki, I used teh Castrol Super Clean product that GameraBaenre has suggested in the past, which worked great. I've also used a bath of 409 to strip off some remanants that didn't release while in the Super Clean, as well as having used it to remove the paint from a few parts I botched recently. I actually use the Wal-Mark knockoff 409, which is their purple All-Purpose Cleaner and it works just as good as 409 IMO.

cos ive used a house cleaner first and i noticed that the plastic tend to become more fragile |

my yet another WIP...
yep that's right. full scratch 1/100 Dodai and Zaku II that will ride on it with the waist mod. (Though not sure when I will have time to fire up the air brush as these are initial paint using enamel by hand to see the colour scheme) Last edited by dj898; 2006-05-13 at 07:30. |
