I had no problems with the tear licking, but with the sudden change from all-peachy-pouty to baaaaawl.

Overall this remains quite an enjoyable and interesting show ... sorry kids.

My prediction for #13 is like I though earlier except I want to add that finding out about Yayoi affair would be a good one for the end of #13.

Another one would be a Haruka something miracle. Who knows.

I am taking this show seriously, the prop knife think was just to show how unbalanced the guy was. if you can't see the symbolism of why the guy used the prop knife then I can understand why you find the show funny. If you don't get it, ill let someone else explain it(not directed at deathkillz).

I dont know about you guys but if some did that to a girl i was next too even if was a prop i would have beat him so hard they would have to identify him with his dental records. Too bad Akira is such Puss he couldn't protect himself from a hangnail.

While the series isn't an intended comedy some parts you may laugh at. I laughed when Yuki saw Touya handing Rina her birthday present. He paused in shock and if Rina didn't take the gift he probably would have stood there longer.

Akira should be grateful for touya. Misaki hold up getting a decent guy all this time just because of Touya. If misaki had not waited all this time, Akira would never have had a chance. I will never forget Misaki's word when Akira finally confessed to her, "Punishment"

Except that he is the rebound guy and that is often a horrible way to start a relationship. Akira is a lost cause at this point, I do hope he turns around next season since he does deserve it, to some degree at least.

That is true, but to label this a comedy series as a primary genre, "oh deary me!"

Touya's father did collapse in an earlier episode(likely heart attack). And why am I not surprised at the ending.

Expected it as much...but I would wonder just how much care Touya would give to his father even knowing that "something bad" happened to him. They don't have the best father-son relationship in any case.

well, disappointment. I guess they are leaving all that for the next season.

I thought the final episode was outstanding, like a tapestry of event and emotion. It helps me give this first season overall a high rating. I'm still not sure the writers have total control of what's going on, but we don't have total control of our own lives, either. The delicate feelings, inevitable misunderstandings and weaknesses and mistakes, the confusion, the uncertainty and uncertain outcomes -- all like real life, but woven into a tapestry of art.

Goddesses everywhere.

This and Marimite and Genji were my three favorites of the season. Maybe add Rideback in there, too, as completely different as it was. And Toradora and Skip Beat of the shows continuing from the fall.

EDIT: I couldn't see any credit for Yuki's song, which I guess was actually Hirano Aya. I enjoyed it, anyway.

Bicycleeeeeeeeeeeeeee!! Uoooooo!! How dare Akira run it over like that!

Putting that scene aside (I laughed at it), seriously... Someone explain to me why whenever it becomes Mana's scene, the art just... gets weird. Her scene outdoors with Touya was just... weird. They looked like paper or something. Anyways, the art in that scene was (O_O)! The scene at the gas station with Akira and Misaki was odd too... And this is the last episode.

Though overall, the story was interesting. It really ended on a bad part though... We are supposed to wait a whole season!
Though some parts of the episode was unintentionally comedic... Which isn't that bad of a thing.
But the last part of the episode felt like a bad roller coaster... One girl after another girl, Mana still not knowing who Yuki is and thinks Yayoi is, Haruka misunderstanding about traces of a girl (Mana) in Touya's room, etc...

Yayoi... Too bad for fans of her. Her two main appearances has Touya denying her kiss (it seems Yuki's "suki" made him mentally strong enough? Happy enough? Not so lonely anymore? enough to resist for once after so long), and her other appearance was when she saw Mana in Touya's house (she came by to return something he forgot) and took her along because she seemed sick.

Mana's scene was cute... Fuhihihihi... Like a ZashikiWarashi...
Just a flag getting scene. No real relations to the story, for now.

Rina... Her appearance time? Even less important. She sings once. Runs and rushes to the next place and sings again.
Kind of laughed at the scene she was rushing. That was very dangerous... They should have gotten arrested for speeding across like that.
By the way, the anime doesn't let you hear her sing.

Misaki and Akira? Their bad luck continues, with their car engine breaking down.
Then we get a scene where Akira is jealous that Misaki calls Touya by his first name, hahaha. Don't feel sorry at all for him though.

Yuki... She finally manages to talk to Touya and say "suki" before she is rushed by Glasses away.
We get to hear the long version of that song she sings (the original OP, was it...?). A good few minutes used. Good song... Shut up, crowd! Let me hear!

For some reason, the episode went WA (the special coloring) on the Sakura group (AKA, nameless girls). Don't care about them to the highest degree, since they are all so... *cough* Moving on...

Touya... It seems seeing Yuki's concert and being told "suki" has cheered him up. His voice kind of sounds... happy?
The outdoor scene with Mana was rather comedic. He was worried over her cold, but the way he acted and touched her was just so... sexual harassment like.
It was interesting that he said "It beings here" after Yuki told him "suki", but when he was told about what happened to his dad, he thought "The beginning ends".
But seriously, this might be the first time I didn't feel so jealous of the protagonist's postion despite being surrounded by girls... One after another... No wonder he gets stressed out...


And so the season ends, with the OP song and Touya talking one last time. Can't judge the anime as a whole yet though... Loved this anime... *sniff* I have to wait an entire season?!

Who here think that AkiraxMisaki is going to end together? It is possible and Maybe the writers want to show us all the obstacles they had to overcome. I am just giving them the benefit of the doubt. I believe they are just showing us all the events that caused what was supposed to be a fairy tale pairing to fail.
