I wouldn't even mind if it was him, as long as he handled it like Assassination Classroom. However it has to be MORE THAN ONE COUR (<- most important aspect).

I'm incredibly hyped for this, I sprinted through all the games in a few months last year and haven't had enough of those quirky, goofy court scenes. \o/

I'm rather looking forward to this, but TBH I don't want to watch it subbed, for once. I'm used to the English names and to hearing "Objection!" instead of "Igi ari!" so I'll wait for the license and the dub.

I think you may be on to something there. While I'll most likely watch it subbed like everything else I watch, this is a show that would probably merit a rewatch when dubbed. That is if they don't mess this up in the adaptation

And of course in this version, Perry Mason won't just be an amazing lawyer, he'll be some kind of crippled master martial arts guru.

It would be the biggest sin if this anime doesn't have the "pursuit-cornered" theme.

The real action movie was downright failure for not having the real "cornered" theme.

Kishi is not a bad director by any means, but his track record is so inconsistent that I can't even pin what it is that works for him.

He has never, ever made a good video game anime though, so perhaps it's best that he stays away from this one.

Well, I think Persona 4 anime adaptaion was pretty good. Although yeah, I'd prefer him to stay away from Ace Attorney.

They mentioned it at the stage event from the Tokyo Games Show including premiere season as Spring 2016. The anime promo poster shows the month on it with the year.

I was wondering if we would ever see a proper Gyakuten Saiban/Ace Attorney anime adaption, especially with the addition of anime cutscenes in Dual Destinies, so really happy and excited to see it happening

Really curious to see which studio will be doing it (Would Bones actually do a proper anime for it?) and how they will approach it as an adaption, though that might also be dependent on how many episodes they get. I'd be perfectly happy with an adaption of the original game for a one-cour season, but a two-cour adaption that manages to fit in the original trilogy would be great

.

Hoping for the best for this adaption
