Sadly I didn't manage to view it in its entirety, but seems (finally!) some gears are in motion, at least regarding Nagisa & Chieri. There's also Mimori too, but I'm not sure about it.

Episode starts with original Acchan showing on the Kirara.

So there is a succession fever... there may be indeed a supernatural part girls getting possessed regarding succession.

Nice to see Nagisa also joining Yuuko and Chieri on the fight for Center Nova, although it was embarrassing to see her talking in the middle of a concert.

That is a pretty evil time to stop the episode... what was the surprised from Tsubasa? Mimori will be the first 00 sexy enough to succeed kasai

Now to wait one week and see how this goes.

I'm glad Nagisa finally joins the fight for Center Nova and all, but I'd have liked she didn't stop the performance. I love Ponytail to Shushu and this wasn't cool at all. I was looking forward to the solo line the most, most likely delivered by Chieri who was the center for the song, too.... all ruined. Good job Nagisa, good fucking job ><

Oh Nagisa....maybe should pick your spots better . I couldn't believe she actually went ahead and interrupted the song for that. Though at least now her declaration is out of the way.

Curious about Mimori. It seems improbable that she will end up being the Acchan successor, of course she has been a surprising character. Her election was a surprise anyways, so will have to see how it turn out.

And of course Chieri's father makes his regular appearance mostly to say "remember me, yes I'm still evil."

Interestingly, while the other voices for the main characters have improved, the main protagonist (Nagisa)'s voice acting is still pretty poor...

Just going to toss this out as an option... what is Mimori has succeeded... herself? The idea of the trainees becoming an entirely new team of 0048 is one that's been kicking around as a theory for a while, and Mimori's image shifting into Mimori's image again would certainly be surprising.

I'm not at all certain that's what's happened (in fact, I'm judging the odds to be less than 25% at the moment), but I figured I'd toss it out there, so if it does happen I can say that I thought that might be the case without looking like I'm trying to claim it after the fact.

I for one am glad that Mimori's the first to become a successor. Hers was the Cursed generation after all.

OH COME ON What the hell is up with that cliffhanger?! Sure, it does build suspense quite nicely, since I was expecting someone to utter Acchan at some point, but it still feels like a low blow. Anyway, there are many ways this can go maximum drama, or even WTF. For instance, she could be replacing Mayuyu, therefore Tsubasa's surprise, or hell, she could be replacing Yuuko. Now, that would be drama. Yes, I'm mostly speaking nonsense here But some out of the box thinking can't hurt, right?

No matter what way it goes, as Wanderer said, it's gonna be weird calling Mimori by any other name, it's how we've known her all this time, and it fits her very well.

Also, Nagisa. Oh, Nagisa. You certainly know how to steal the spotlight I was expecting the entire concert to stop right there and have her break down, especially after that very NTR-ish looking scene with Chieri and Yuuko, but instead she got to shine all on her own for the first time. She may not have gotten it together, but after this "performance" I'm pretty sure she's not supposed to. You go, girl.

-I really liked that comment on having the same state of soul being key for succession, as obvious as it may be. Dunno, it just feels nice to have it put in words, and it sounds damn cool too.
-That photo of Mayuyu and Yukirin. SO. DAMN. ADORABLE!!
-Even when looking for potential center nova rivals, Yuuko doesn't forget her kinky side

But Nagisa didn't have the fever so she's obviously not ready for succession yet. Mimori's fever identifies her as the one picked this time, and it's not just trolling because Tsubasa explains all the girls have the fever when they're ready for succession.

man another cliff hanger >.< and another week's wait. For some unknown reason I thought mimori will be succeeding mariko, don't know why just entered my mind right at the end there.

and wow Nagisa what an awkward thing to do, at least she pulled up something and now she's no longer wishy-washy but fully in the race for center-nova. and that's one hell of a declaration right there in front of a live crowd and media. Chieri haven't done anything like that yet, but of course she's already shining much. Funny too how the episode showed her moving her goals & focus away from Yuuko ( her idol) and yet doing the same exact thing as Yuuko did that is declaring publicly her goal of becoming Center-nova.

yeah the thought also crossed my mind it seems pretty contrived to make Nagisa available for the performance with the main group. It seems Sensei-sensei used mimori since Nagisa wasn't elected. well, we will know for certain next episode.

I mean... yeah, I love Ponytail to Shushu too, so I was disappointed to see the song interrupted. Honestly, though, Nagisa's little moment was so painfully awkward that I was more concerned with how everyone else would react than anything. >_> I'm glad that Chieri and the rest were supportive and helped the moment pass painlessly.

yes but that was a declaration of succession not really of being center-nova IIRC, anyway I may be wrong have to re-watch that ( oh on second thought yes it was not a declaration for center nova or even center since the position wasn't even reinstated yet at that point). Chieri lately for me seems more preoccupied with other things rather than being center-nova like being worthy of her election rank. She of course is doing her best to be the next "pioneer" (successor) as she puts it (and shining quite brightly for that ), especially after the election happenings and understanding with Nagisa right after. Like Nagisa she haven't really thought of the center-nova position or rather being a contender for it. well that's just how I see it.
