If Lucy does beat Angel, Aries switching sides is obvious. As for the other two three, Scorpio has a higher chance than the twin spirits.

My best guess is its power output is limited by its master's mana levels. Still pretty broken, but we need something to keep Lucy from summoning copy-Erza in every future fight.

Maybe Evil-Erza can kill it when Lucy tries that later in the arc.

What's the punishment for killing a Stellar Spirit of the Ecliptic Zodiac?

Is the next arc going to be about rescuing Erza from the Stellar Plane?

Ok this is pushing it really far ahead, but i wonder what's gonna happen when she finds out Urtear was the one who led gerard to his 'death'? Also, what would Gray have to say about Erza harming the daughter of his sensei?

Why does Mashima choose to have Erza as such a pivotal character to bring out the truest potential in Natsu? It seems to me that ever since she was introduced, she's been a key player in many of the events that reveal key personality points and developments for Natsu. I can't help but think there's some significance to this.

Why do people keep bringing up OP? OP is probably more of an exception in my opinion. It's unfair to use an exception for something that's not even part of the norm for these kind of adventure, growing up, developing from a bratty idiotic kid to hero shounen stories.

I think there's much more merit to comparing two different works by the same author than comparing two works by different authors, with the other work being different from other shounen titles.

So I finally caught up after like 2 months of avoiding this due to anger towards Gerard's revival. I've gotta say, Nirvana's real interesting...that being said though, I'm pretty much convinced Erza's going to change sides. Not right away, but the moment she sees Gerard she's going to be a mess of emotions.

Personally I have mixed feelings about this. I think it's kind of cool cause I think heroines who turn evil are hot. On the other end of things if that means she goes to Gerard then it kinda ticks me off cause well...I hate Gerard. As for Lucy's battle...no complaints here haha.

talking about love in a shounen manga is rather odd too

and seeing many similarities, people will tend to compare at one point

The extra long version of chapter 128 was nice, and Erza was looking as incredibly hot as ever. The issue of Sorcerer was great too, especially the ladies.

Spoiler for Spoiler for Rave Manga: I think Mashima would choose the impetus for his main protagonist's growth in this series, and I can't help but think that he would of course be aware of love as a powerful influence on the main hero - Natsu's - development. Sure, he's an idiot, but I fail to see why idiots can't fall in love either, even if the series is shounen in genre. Haru seemed to be 1/2 conscious of his own affection for Ellie since early on in Rave, and I just can't help but feel that perhaps Natsu's reactions to Erza's circumstances in each battle since Fairy Tail's battle with Phantom Lord is extremely significant to his bursts in power. Of course, there are other factors involved, and I could simply be forcing myself to overthink the relationship between Natsu and Erza, but I can't help but think that maybe he's more to him than just an older sister figure. I don't think Lucy is as strong of a candidate for a romantic target for Natsu, and I also think that, despite Gray and Natsu seeming to have similar relationships with Erza (as younger brother/sister), Natsu does definitely seem to be the target of more sisterly affection. More importantly, I feel like Natsu's anger in the arc depicting Erza's past, and the whole event in which Erza was saved, there was a lot of significance to choosing Erza as the person for which Natsu felt such strong emotions and even cried for. Even in the scene revealing the consequences of Erza's death do we see Lucy crying in Gray's shoulders, rather than her comforting Natsu. Could it be that there's some hidden affection for Erza underneath Natsu's dumb exterior? Perhaps he's unaware of it himself. Just what is the reason for his passionate hatred for Gerard? I think that this upcoming arc has a lot of potential, especially if Natsu and Erza have to fight in any which way.
