Good thing about living in Singapore: We're already looking at book 15.

Chuangyi has up to 15. The Taiwanese import is the one at 16. That's another thing: we get both East and West.

I don't know. That could be the case. In any case, my exams are coming. So...

Well, my exams are coming too.And it's continuation foe 6 days(6 course). But still, no DGM just make my week become quite boring. At least got DGM can cheer me up while I'm tired of my revision. No DGM just make me sad. Man, now I'm really hope we can have an even quicker story line or extra chapters in the future(though it is less likely happen for the latter case which I think I say many times already).

Remember guys, Hoshino-sensei is only human, she needs to rest from time to time.

Personally, I'm more afraid that she's not able to handle the stress of being in Jump, and as a result, the editors kick DGM out of the magazine.

I thought that had to do more with the popularity of the series, but I don't think they will kick DGM out yet. Remember that she was sick several times in the past.

sigh, yes guys, she is sick.

This year's 51st issue of Weekly Shonen Jump has announced on Monday that Katsura Hoshino has put her D.Gray-man supernatural adventure manga on hold due to her health. The magazine has not announced when D.Gray-man will return. The manga began in 2004, and Viz Media has published the 11th of the 16 current volumes this month.

~taken from ANN~

Pray that she will get well soon.

*facepalms for a good few seconds*

Alright, as much as I am aware that Hoshino sensei's health is the main priority here, I still can't help but despair a little. DGM ON HOLD??For me this has just gone slightly beyond frustration. The weekly dgray fix has started occupy such a significant part of my schedule that knowing it's going to be absent for the infinite days to come is just..argh.Especially when the plot's just progressed to such a critical point in the manga. The suspense is going to be quite difficult to put up with.

Nevertheless, as a good fan one shall be considerate for Hoshino sensei's situation and bear with the wait. Hopefully the break will give her the opportunity to inspire on new ideas and give the series a grand comeback.

Rant over

I understand that you must be really upset about this, even I’m upset about it; D.Gray-Man is a really good manga after all. But remember that Hoshino-sensei has been putting the series on hold for several times already due to her health (not sure what she has, Jump has this policy of just saying that the author is just sick, not ''sick with what'' :P) in fact I don't even think she has any published photos of herself, so we don't know is she is just born sick or not.
And yes, every time she does come back, the series starts to get good again and so I think that this will help her with the manga, like it did before. And I do hope she does get well soon

Seeing how HunterXHunter is still doing well, i don't have this worry. But anyone know what kind of sickness she always gets? She's really young after all.

Thanks for the info, Ja-Y-Ce.

Oh no. This is bad. Now I have to pray for Hoshino sensei’s health. Hope she recover quickly. Take your time rest for the meantime. Maybe she also go to do body checkup.
Anyone remember how fast or how long she had on hold in the previous situation? And how many time did thing happen? 2times?

Agreed with you, ffantasy24 and Arabesque. I saw her photos but can't actually remember where. Maybe tou can try myanimelist.net-look for author of DGM or Livejournal(I think). And I think she's cute.

Reminder to myself: there are other ways of checking on Maganka other than ANN

So, yes, there seems to be a picture of her from one of the Con's she attended. She looks pretty normal.
Hoshino-sensei has been taking several breaks over the years, in November 2005 she was severely ill, in February 2006 she went ill again, and then she took a 1 month break after the fight between Cross and Tyki in 2007(and these are just of the top of my head). And then she started taking a week recently again. I think she never had a break longer than 3 months IIRC.

HunterXHunter is an extremely popular manga that is written by Yoshihiro Togashi, and in his world, Shonnen Jump runs by his release secluded, not the other way around.
And we don't know waht ahe has, but I really hope she gets better
