Well you pretty much reached the same conclusions that most people did (however nothing is confirmed so far).

- The Beatrice that handed the letter to Maria is actually one of the 18 (most people suspect either Kumasawa or Jessica)
- One of the initial six faked his death
- Kinzo's body might not be the real Kinzo's body
- The culprit was still inside the room when Eva and Hideyoshi were found dead or they faked their death

Also the question about the existence of an "x" person outside from the supposedly known 18 persons is a central theme that will be examined throughout the next three episodes.

Now the only problem is after all that killing, how did the killer escape with the magic circle on the door?

What do you mean exactly? It's not like the circle prevented him from escaping, the circle doesn't even have that function.

Well the magic circle's alleged properties are only valid if you accept an anti-magic POV. Otherwise if you reject it like Battler then it really serves no practical purpose/

What I meant that how would the killer draw the magic circle before Kanon came back with the cutter. The door was left alone for just a few minutes and to accomplish that I think is that Genji and Kanon went to the wrong room at first. Still with both these servants working for years, surely they wouldn't have miss that

Highly unlikely that they'd make a mistake with the room or miss the circle. The best explanation is that whoever made the circle was almost as knowledgable as Kinzo is on the magic circles, to the point that this person can draw it that fast.

I think the magic circles can be accomplished somehow like painting it on a piece of paper first like a "template" (and not let it dry obviously), press it on wherever it is needed, then see how correct it looks on the surface, and adjust it with additional fine-brushing and maybe write the hebrew writing too at that time.
It could be probably accomplished in less time, than Kanon running down to the kitchen, going to wherever the equipment is, and run back upstairs, especially with the somewhat slower Kuwasama.

I have no experience in painting mind you, so take that with a pinch of salt, but I can imagine it happening somehow like that.

As for Sora1412, I honestly recommend reading through at least the next 2 episodes, before attempting to make a larger theory, because the character developments happening in the next episodes could easily change whatever theory one devised earlier. I believe there are some things which could receive a new meaning (at least that was the case for me).

Uh right I completely forgot that the circle wasn't there when they attempted to enter.

However you are supposing that the culprit and the one who makes the circles is the same person. It doesn't need to be necessarily true.

I think the magic circles are either done by Maria or by the person Maria recognizes as Beatrice. Or both of them. Anyway the fact that Maria perfectly recognizes those circles and their meaning is too strange to be accepted lightly. Occultism is a very vast field and I don't really think it's plausibile that Maria knows everything so we are left with the possibility that it's a just a coincidence that Maria knows that particular magic philosophy. But I don't believe in such coincidence.

In my case, the character backgrounds in the succeeding episodes make me suspect certain people less and less of being any sort of culprit whatsoever, narrowing down the list and making it harder to find a "human" culprit.

When Rudolf pulls Battler's ear at the very beginning he does: Up Up Down Down Left Right Left Right.

That is correct: due to technical limitation, it is very unlikely we can add all notes for each episodes.
Therefore, we only let notes regarding "untranslatable" terms and specific japanese situations.

References, cameos, parodies etc are "normally" discovered by the readers themselves, but we still let them in our notes in document, just in case.

Personally out of all hte possible people in that storeroom who could be faking their deaths, I find it less likely for Rosa to be the one who would do it. And this still doesn't answer the problem of it being a locked room.

unless there is an unknown passage to the room, the only way to explain how the killer(if any) escape the room is by having oneself in the room and blend in later.

I have been thinking. Remember those chemical class where when we smear those colourless chemical with another substance, it will turn into a colour? I think that is the only way to explain why anyone could able to draw the magic circle b4 Kanon returns.
