I've always felt that way and the amount of people thinking it will happen has been increasing in the last few weeks has been annoying me lately, especially in MW. Do these people really think that Kawamori is going to be thinking "Hey guys let's leave it unresolved lol! Even though it's the focal point of the show and nearly everything else has suffered (The mecha fights have been disappointed as fuck since episode 7, my fav part of this show is still the first 5 minutes after the intro in episode 2) due to it lets just leave it unresolved for lolz!"

Indeed, a second season would be equivalent to a major earthquake around these parts. Also, in my opinion, it would be the only way for Kawamori and associates to resolve the triangle in Ranka's favor in a semi-believable manner, since right now die Prinzessin is in no position to pursue any relationship with her.

Of course, I am not taking Kawamori's impressive trolling skills into consideration. Still, such an outcome would be a great disservice both to the fans, and to the characters, especially Fraulein Nome.

It also wouldn't be a good look for Kawamori since it's been a long time since he's had a generally praised show. Macross Zero was hit or miss, Arjuna people got annoyed with for being way too preachy, Aquarion while lolz was lol...

In all honesty, i am less concerned with Kawamori and his reputation than with Fraulein Nome and any unjust treatment of hers she might be forced to endure, on top of earlier cases that is. It is very unusual for me to invest much feelings into essentially an imaginary character, but she is a major exception to this rule. Not to mention the fact that Herr Saotome, should he actually abandon her without a good reason - which, like said, cannot be produced within two episodes' time - would be essentially worthless as a protagonist and a pretty despicable individual Fraulein Lee should not, taking real life logic into consideration, associate with either.

I am afraid you mistake me for someone else. Also, having read Crusader's opinions on Macross Frontier, I must say I do not subscribe to certain portions of his views. Still, despite certain severity towards Fraulein Lee, his, for want of a better word, essays, were an entertaining read.

Aquarion? do you mean Sousei no Aquarion?... I think i have deleted it as a jerk reflex.... The early episodes are really painful to watch. Is it really worth finishing ?....

I'm not trying to pick a fight (haven't watched ep23, haven't voted). I'm just saying its the freedom of expression working here. Everybody is entitled to their own opinion and nobody forbids it being here. Live and let live.

There's nothing wrong with it, I just find the fanboy whining tiring and grating. I like Sheryl and everything, but I'm not going to hate the series solely because she doesn't get any love from Alto for one episode or if she loses (which I hope she doesn't), things don't always go your way, it's how things go, and Macross is a show, people take it too seriously. Invest your emotions into a character, there's nothing wrong with it and it's all gravy, but taking up a bratty attitude makes certain people sound like spoiled children.

tl;dr people need to lighten up, me included.

Sheryl helping Alto with the cooking was adorable though. I didn't really notice many of the quality issues people were moaning about either. Can't wait for the Mecha porn next week.

at the first i feel so energetic to read the post from first page
but i read it until 10 pages i give up

and one thing i can say
i feel like the Macross Frontier staff with the producer like to tease their fans
because until now we haven't know Alto who that he love

of course i hope alto will end up with Sheryl ^_^

yep! I love it too.. though its a very sad anime with the ending and all..
the ghrapics are good as MacrossF (well quite) and the story is good too for the begining of all in Macross.. why do they hate it anyway?
