Did someone mention ships?

http://images.psxextreme.com/wallpap...ip_war_999.jpg

Btw, is it true you don't normally serve a fish whole in most part of the western hemisphere? I think I read Sumeragi's post somewhere that seems to imply so.

Not sure quite what you mean (don't recall a post), but basically it's rare for you to get a fish that had not been gutted and deboned before being served. Think salmon steak and the like.

Ship to ship combat? That'll get you banned probably.

I've sworn against wearing any tight underwear years ago, boxers all the way.

Depends, the southern part (South America) is much more likely to serve "whole fish" in it's "native" cuisine than most of North America. Most people are admittedly squeamish about seeing fish eyes and heads, as they're used to getting filets. That said, we have a lot of Chinese, Mediterranean and Italian restaurants in most cities, and they all do whole fish!

Au contraire~ We have plenty of those restaurants and they don't ever serve a whole fish, only fillets. Unless of course you mean you're in South America.

Er, I'm in Canada and my Chinese, Italian and Mediterranean restaurants serve whole fish.. And I know they do whole fish in the Caribbean and Mexico (been there) and guessing from food knowledge about the rest of South America..

with recent studies showing restaurants are selling lower price fish as higher price fish you probably want to see the head to know if you are actually getting the fish you order.

So this is random.. So it fits in this thread I guess. It's somewhat related to the "Do opposites attract?" question.

Years ago, when my fiancé and I had just started dating, she showed me a dating website that had questionnaires and tests to determine people's compatibility with each other. There's also funny tests like "The Slut Test" and "The Lover Test" etc.. It's "Okcupid" if anyone is curious. One of the reasons she's interested is cause she did her thesis on online dating.

Anyways, the point is we took some tests and found out we're pretty different.. like 58% match or something. It was fun at the time and we forgot about it. So fast forward to years later, we're engaged and living together -- and I check an old email account and see updates from the site. I log in and just for fun retake the tests. She does as well. Our compatibility is now 28% .. So here's hoping opposites do work well together..

PS: The site also says I'm a "Gentleman" which my fiancé vehemently disagrees with

Talk about couple of opposites.... my parents are such a polar anti-thesis even down to the line of sectarian orientation ! Dad is Javanese, adventurous, fairly superstitious and heterodox while mom is Sumatran, almost isolationist, and a firm skeptic and religiously orthodox. They do still have a lot in common, but their union did require some..... umm parental intervention..... (There's still love in the relationship, especially on mommy's side. It's daddy that had to compromise his freedom a bit )

Ugh...this. I often have mixed feeling whenever I see my male acquaintance's antics with their wife. It kinda makes me rather scared of the idea of marriage really. Deep down, I knew something had to give, so I can kind of understand, but then I don't. *sigh*

Anyways I'm just gonna enjoy my single life to the fullest for now

Even if I don't have those, I'm still kinda burdened with the responsibility because I AM the oldest child lol

You do know that there's always the option of offering yourself as the present, right?
I imagine it to be the least "painful" way for you honestly.
