For Y15,000? =o Bah, I'm sure goodsmile and the like will come out with something eventually...

Anyway, it turns out there IS extra footage in the first episode on the DVD! A whole 20 seconds of it between 5:52 and 6:12

Haven't got a clue what happens, I can just make out 'Itsuki' 'Yuki' and 'insert cut'. Oh well.

Very nice... I hope they keep those jackets for the R1 release (if that happens).

On that note, SOS-dan rims would be kickass beyond measurement.

It's ok, the specials were worth it. Ishihara-san is an awesome director.

And, as expected, Aya-chan is as adorable as usual. ^^

The power of Haruhi and Itou Noizi is quite formidable. Most places have already maxed out on their preorders for the limited edition DVDs. You don't often see limited edition anime DVDs sell out a month before they're even released.

So if you want the limited edition DVDs, you should preorder while you still can. Chances are you won't find them anymore by release day.

In Singapore? Did you ask him which forum he frequents or such?

If I saw anyone on the street with Haruhiism merchandise, I would approach and slap his back or something.

A full-body shot of that figurine I found elsewhere.

Looks like a garage kit .. but *dammnnnnnnnn!!!!*

(yes, dear - it really illuminates her personality.... um, yeah)

now that I've had time to cool off... a great trio of figurines would be this one, Yuki in witch garb with guitar, and Mikuru in that garb Haruhi described with a tambourine.

Holy Haruhi-sama, that figure is unbelievable, I would empty my bank for it lol

Its pure pleasure for the eyes, totally Haruhi, and the stockings, how the hell did he do it? Its some insane craftsmanship there, the entire figure is as perfect as Haruhi-sama.

:Picks jaw up off the floor:
Aside from the obvious appeal, that's some of the best craftsmanship I've ever seen on a garage kit. Look at the guitar: it looks perfect down to the screws on the pickguard. Even the strings look good. And the stockings... wow. How long would that take? Just... I'm speechless.

I can't stop looking at the figure lol

The eyes are just beautiful, definitely has Haruhi's unique spark and glow. I love the legs.
