If you got the impression that the umbrella was too prissy, then the umbrella has done its job. Prissiness is an attribute that corresponded well with Kanaria's self-indulging personality, and in that sense, the umbrella was fitting to Kanaria. Maybe they are being referred to as when they were made, we know most of the maidens are way older then Jun, but I guess that the artist is inferring that Bara was made after Jun was born...
