Anyone else think of a Souls Online MMORPG? I can imagin the hype they will have to live up to and how bad it will crash.

This. Took the helmet off after many hours for the first time after character creation and I forgot this is how my character face looks like.

More dialogue choices would be nice please... doesn't have to be complIcated, just something more complex than a yes/no/attack option -_-

^ nice trailer. the music seems to fit well with the atmosphere. i notice the
character doesnt look all that ugly in cut scenes! but in-game, they'll probably look
like krap...lol.

An action MMORPG. Well, there aren't many as of yet. But there are a few.

TERA is one. I play it. It's an action MMORPG and it's been my drug of choice since May 2012. Tried Diablo 3 for 2 weeks tops, then abandoned it and went straight back to TERA.

Although TERA it's not quite like Dark Souls or Demon's Souls in terms of gameplay... it's not that far either. When you avoid an enemy's attack, it counts. When you aim and hit an enemy, no matter your lvl, it counts too. The game doesn't rely on your stats to help you avoid or hit an enemy. If you win or die, it's based on your skills mostly... and your equipement... sometimes.

What defines Dark Souls or Demon's Souls as action RPGs, is that their gameplay is more precise than other action MMOs out there (ex : TERA, Vindictus, C9, etc...).

So yes, if there is a Dark Souls MMO, I'm in. First day, beta if I can.

Exactly how I feel about TES Online. I'm definitely gonna be in on that one, but I'm prepared for the worst already haha.

Well you can make a character who looks good, its just that you will always die so you end up being a undead like 95% of the time anyway

On topic though, I am excited to hear about this, hopefully it will be just as good as Dark Souls was. Realistically though, Dark Souls wasn't that hard it just had you take your time. You had to learn the weaknesses of your enemies or figure out how to beat them and take your time in each fight. In a gaming era where pretty much everything tells you how to do everything, it seems hard when they basically tell you nothing and make you figure it out for yourselves.

It was hard for beginners, pretty much. Once you played through once, everything takes a dive in difficulty. At that point, it becomes a game requiring patience, rather than skill.

In the end though people just get fed up and do research on the internet... And since there's no actual narrative or anything you can't technically be spoiled

I really didn't need to look up anything on the internet, except for the item that let you face the four kings, I could not figure that out on my own for the life of me x.x

Besides that it really is kind of straight forward usually, to kill the undead kill the necromancers first, etc. etc.

I am sure dark souls is a great game. However, I got the PC version and I found it to be an insult to any pc gamer. They couldn't bother to fix its graphics and controls. In that condition the game felt like a shore to learn. I just couldn't stand the pc version. Hopefully DS 2 will be a real pc game.

The PC version was really rushed. I do not blame them as they did not originally plan to port the game over to PC.
