Both Gil and Merlin have a lot to explain after this war ends.

And I just realized, Merlin mentioned once during the flashback where the Sins got framed, that they had destroyed the Great Altar of the Druid. Guess what? Now we have druids all over the place.

Merlin didn't say that they HAD to destroy it, I think? Just that the Great Holy Knight would be angry at them for destroying it. It was an accident, I think.

Hendricksen, I think, just researched the magic of the druids. Elizabeth is from a special druidic bloodline, I'd wager. I don't think being a druid is hereditary (it's probably something that can be learned if you have the talent, like becoming a mage). Rather, it seems like the equivalent of the 'priest' class in this world as opposed to Merlin and Vivian's 'mage' jobs.

The increased sales for Volumes 1-10 seem really nice.

People are saying that these increased sales week 1/2 are more than SNK increases week 1.

If you think about it, Gil was pretty merciful. Remember, Vivian is obsessed with him and has him constantly under watch. Then some punk kid slipped a big, fat grub into his drink. So sticking the sword in there may have been to prevent any greater damage.

That or Vivian commanded him to. Whatever. Vivian seems to be able to telepathically contact Gil, like the time she sent him over to aid Hendricksen. The fact that he threw the spear towards Bernia to confirm Meliodas' presence would have also likely been due to Vivian's instructions.

If we're to question why Gil was even there taste-testing anyway, it'd be easy enough to create scenarios for why he insulted the beer. Vivian may have wanted to punish him for 'leaving her' to do something so insignificant, for example. Maybe she wanted him to finish up whatever he was sent to do quickly so that he can quickly return to the capital. She's pretty yandere, so she could get jealous for whatever reason. "Ah, how dare he taste that beer! He should be tasting me instead!" or some shit like that. Crazy woman.

To be fair it's pretty easy to misconstrue this as being near the end. Even I had my doubts after reading that chapter. Saying something like "The conclusion to the final battle!!" would make anyone wonder if they were going to continue on.

Plenty left that they can tackle though. And anyways awesome move by Meliodas. Don't underestimate that guy. He'll do what he has to in order for them to win in the end.

the only relevant/funny thing was Hendricksen trying to run like a xxxxx and, that meliodas lost his right eye...but, he is half demon + the 7 sins team have inoue elizabeth as their healer

time for hypothesis *yay*:

a- Hendricksen is not really dead...he's just chopped into tiny little pieces..so his regeneration(if possible) its going to take ..mmm...5-15 chapters?(meanwhile the chapters are gonna be comedy chapters....till a slave of Hendricksen appear as the new medium bad guy for a while)

b- Hendricksen is dead..but, the demons (demon blood) are gonna take his bodies/blood to form a new being (so, happy chapters for a while)

c- the demons(new villain) used Hendricksen to find the apostle of the goddess...and he/she reveal to the world in a badass scene(bad end...a lot of persons are gonna die ..again

)

d- the demons/masterminds used these battles to keep the 7 sin busy, while they are attacking other place(Artur kingdom/their demon world seal/+add original content here )

e- time to travel to reseal the demon dimension!....world construction/explorations arcs!! time to find one piece materials for a new seal!!

f- happy chapter, till the 7 sin decide to move to "Arthur kingdom"/"visit Arthur" (Guinevere/ lancelot appearances (*¬*) ..and morgana le Fay plot *yay* ) to interrogate merlin

ps: if Hendricksen is alive then he going to be the 8 sins in the future(he have a "sin"/is a sinner..)
