If any of the characters who stand in for Yasu were meant to resemble the actual person, we wouldn't have explicitly never actually been shown the character. Lack of visual association is important thematically; we're only supposed to be able to understand Beatrice-the-author through what was actually written.

Unless of course it was someone we knew all along... spoooooky.

What would your reaction be if Umineko got an anime, and we finally got to see that Yasu looked like Gohda wearing a dress?

I still think Yasu looks like Kanon, be s/he male or female.

Battler has apparently seen plenty of female appeal to her. I'm not sure if he'd talk that way to a boy.As with George.
Kanon can easily disguise himself as Shannon.

As for the scene when Battler was about to grope ''her'' breasts, she said before that she left her fate to a completely random roulette, so she was probably prepared for Battler to realize they were fake(or thought he wouldn't notice.)

This would also explain why both servants are occasionally talked to by other people.

Perhaps Natsuhi already knew this, but decided to keep quiet about it because it'd reveal her embezzlement(Krauss's) in some way, but I don't think that the rest of the family would have known(if Natsuhi even knows).

Kanon could probably be viewed as a female, Battler saw him as a slender and small looking boy, I highly doubt typical male genetics would inhibit his ability to play the role of a female. What worries me is the Ushiromiya family crest, it's on Shannon's leg, Kanon's legs are always covered as far as I know. Elder Beatrice has the emblem on her right leg, while Shannon has it on her left(her other leg is covered but I highly doubt there's a second one).

I agree, a Tsukihime anime would be very interesting, I can only imagine the amount of effort and time they would put into it, they wouldn't destroy the concept of this anime by nerfing the characters, leave many unexplained areas, make totally different events than what actually hapened, and giving all the characters really weird artwork.

I would only want an Umineko anime for seeing improved artwork of the chiru characters, I actually got kind of used to the SN artwork of the characters, and enjoy them more than the actual anime.

Artwork? Screw you, the best part of the anime was the voice-acting. I want to see how Erika, Dlanor, Will, and Lion all sound like.

Eh, I honestly liked reading the dialogue better, but yeah, they did have superb voice actors, I really think they all suited the characters perfectly. I just loved Beatrice's voice, it was so perfect.

I think I know what the change of legs is supposed to mean. When Beatrice looks in the mirror, who is on the other side? Shannon. It's kind of hiding in plain sight... Was Beatrice's weakness to mirrors such a lead!? Actually Shannon, Kanon and Beatrice share some colors on their clothing (well, so does Rosa, actually. Signifying her as another culprit perhaps?). Of course, on the early stages it could be taken as some kind of trolling, and it's not like many seriously go looking for who visually looks like Beatrice when solving the mystery, right?

If it means anything, I believe Beatrice's dress has 2 crests on it, both sides, where each of the legs are supposed to be.


...God if only we could see Kanon's legs(no homo).
