Ok, here is the full equation:

(Consider Chifuyu=Ichika=Madoka=1)

*Chifuyu+Ichika+Madoka=3

*Child Ichika=Child Madoka=2

*Twin=Double

*Sister+Mother+Teacher=3

=>Twin(Child Madoka+Child Ichika)+Chifuyu+Bonus=12=4 times 3

That's like saying someone curbstomp NILS MOTHERLOVER NIELSEN in straight matchup with traditional gunpla build.

Must be Chifuyu caliber or something, so make that antagonist older and experienced, much more experienced.

Some older, probably not. How should I put it... someone who can read other people's thoughts? The antag always ends up a move ahead of their opponents.

Depending on how complex you want your story to be

Simple version:

Older = more experience = more genre savy = more dangerous foe = worthy adversity to defeat?

Complex:

If protagonist and antagonist are similar in term of personality and backstory.... Older antagonist can represent the dark future that may await the protagonist. (Dark Varder vs Luke Skywalker)

It is kind of like bad-future version of the Protagonist....except that no time traveling is involved.

alternatively

If Protagonist has nothing in complete with antagonist, it is more of conflict of ideology:
Cynicism versus Optimism
Tradition versus modern

The story can be make grey (rather than simple black and white) if both side has valid point and the hero only won because he is the protagonist of the story.

Point to note is that an Antagonist are shadow to Protagonist's light.

They can either reflect the imperfection/darker side of the protagonist, what the hero could have been or a just foil (having opposite view) .

Hmm... Then what if the first Antagonist is the bad guy, the second is a good (to an extend) guy, and the Protagonist is neither good or bad. I don't see much contrast in this case.

In that case, the First antagonist is an adversity/obstacle that hero need to over come while the second is an anti-hero who had different idea/approach to a problem compared to the hero.

The antagonists are kind of like the path the hero would take, however as a neutral party, there is still a possibility that the protagonist will chose the third option and flip off the other two.

Edit:

About my last edit, I checked, nobody is arguing who Ichika should be paired with. There is no shipping war going on here right now.

Yay I saw Stratosphere!

I think all IS have the weakness of being unable to detect underwater (as in submerged) target.

Because it is kind of pointless to install such sensors, considering that IS are airborne most of the time and their target (another IS) are air-borned most of the time anyway.

@Stratosphere: Does Minerva has the same weakness in that aspect?
