I didn't notice the "weed" part. That just made this way funnier. Such admirable attention to detail.

Well, it seems it's been some time since anyone last posted here.

I just finished Hakoniwa Logic. It was a nice experience. The heroines are all cute with one having a very surprising twist. The story is engaging and entertaining. The mystery wasn't overtly simple, and thanks to Kirika's bad ending, you can really feel the tension permeating the whole playthrough. In the end though, everything feels to have fallen into place. With the way the game is set up, you will have to play through all of the heroine's route. However, even though they might be a little short, there's no glaring plot hole as far as I can remember, and it also doesn't feel too forced, nor overtly grandiose (in fact, I think it's just right). However, I have to give props to Moemi's route for the plot twist there. Nearly gave me a heart attack.

As far as the heroines go, I like Shizuku the least. Kirika is hands down my favorite, but Koko is a close second. Next comes Moemi because of aforementioned plot twist, and although I like Tamiyasu, I don't particularly like Mana here (speaking of which, there is Tamiyasu but no Yanase!).

It was a whole experience. I don't particularly feel anything disappointing while playing it. Now, time to get back to Clover Days. Still only finished Izumi and Tsubame there.

You mean like this site: Visual Novel Spam

There's also this one, but it has fewer reviews: Ginpatsu Kakumei

Here's another one: What is Tomato

There's probably more, but I guess you could just Google search for them.

Neko Para is out. I may give an actual review after I've played it, but a VN starring Sayori's trademarked catgirls cannot be bad.

EUSHULLY!

Seems we're going for Fantasy Musical theme, all their weapons are transforming musical instruments... I shat myself on that one, I mean come on, the heroines: Violin+ Axe + Spear, or the Harp + Bow + Scythe [I didn't expect that one], then our Mc's Flute + Sword + Gun.

To be released in April 24, vndb link here: https://vndb.org/v16341#main

Nekopara was perfectly in my strike zone and was with its "awww" factor - for me - immensly enjoyable. It left, however, during the later half a somehow rushed impression at some parts. But yeah, that fluff and sugar sweet interaction <3.

Oh yeah there's this thread. There's just so little traffic I forgot it existed.

Anyway, HOOORRRAAAAAY I got to play the last chapter of Clockwork Leyline and just finished it the other day. It's a bit short with just a single route though, and the H scenes are all omake scenarios except for Ushio's, which acts as the epilogue (no surprise there really).

What I like about this is that they actually didn't make a scene between Mitsuyoshi and Michiru, and there's one damn good flag that Shizuka x Michiru might just be possible after all even if it's not outright stated in game yet. There's also plenty of other plot twists and it was a joy to read.

I played the trial for the new Eushully title:

The non-spoiler: Gameplay. The battle system didn't seem that interesting from the trial. You select your chara to move as far as you can or move him "into" an enemy to attack for close-combat units (no seperate battle screen as with Himegari or Kamidori). From the inital skill card layout the MC and Ravirie can do a follow-up attack if stationed next to each other and as every monsters can do under the same condition.
The skill system seems to be a mix of FFX's sphere grid and Kamidori's skill system. You get ability cards with set costs in color types (red, blue, green) that you can place on the "ability grid" on a matching color field. These cards range from skills to items (annoying that the chara who equipped the healing potion can use it only on himself/herself) or passive stat points. The MC starts with mere three ability points available >_<. You can cut trees with the respective card on the battle map, for example, to reach treasures, but the card costs a whopping 5 "card points" so in the trial only your Archer can use it if you remove nearly every other ability card . Might be only useful for re-visiting maps to get every treasure/100%.

So yeah, it seems a bit "meh" at first or just wants you to be resourceful in who to give the potion and who a shield card for damage reduction, etc.

The spoiler-ish:
Spoiler for Characters:

Say, anyone here play Material Brave and Material Brave Ignition?

Has anyone unlocked the other game modes and how to unlock them?

I'm playing the trial for Asa Project's new game.

I personally didn't feel it with their two previous works, but this new one is AMAZINGLY GOOD.

I got the previous stuff a little mixed up. I thought renai 0 kilometers was pretty good. I played the trial of hitotsubashi and it was funny at places but overall I wasn't feeling it. The humor felt forced at times.

But this new one is just a riot! The characters are all insane but lovable, and the premise puts these two totally opposite families under the same roof and they just CLASH. Their characters are just built to grind against and play off of one another. It's like the humor writes itself! And the trial leaves a hint of a past drama with one of the heroines that leaves me waiting to find out more.

Renai 0 kilometers makes two families interact. This one takes it to the next dimension.

Asa project has been good with the conversation/dialogues between the characters, but this one was also hilarious.

Lol, so did the trial had to end in such a hillarious way?

Spoiler for ..:

Yeah. It seemed like Tomoe had some past with Chihaya and sounded like she was "betrayed"?

Looks like I will be playing Anekouji Naoko to Gin-iro no Shinigami for this month's release (4 more days!).
