so the next episode is set a year from episode 33, does that mean we'll be seeing Diva's son/daughter soon??? Wow, that must be one weird (not to mention bloody) family reunion should Saya ever come across Diva again. This also makes me think that if Diva can mate with Saya's Chevalier then isn't the reverse also possible? Maybe Solomon can offer more than just information next time (i.e. his genes) to even the score *to all Saya/Haji fans out there, please don't kills me*

Because Riku died, I think his entire Chevalier transformation was wasted.
-Riku becoming Saya's Chevalier=Filler.
-The Shifu (the entire story arc them and the repetitive fighting that didn't involve Diva or any of her Chevaliers)=Filler...also anti-climatic because Irene's death kind of spoils Riku's death by affecting Kai first (Riku broke apart in the same way).
And other than Irene's death, the Shifu attack on the Red Shield HQ was anti-climatic because Diva does the same thing (except she finishes the job).
And Julia's research on Riku's special nucleotide=Filler, major wasted time between her and David.

Riku could have died from Diva back at the Zoo but Diva just had to kill Riku two times over. The Shota r@pe gives me shivers. She undressed herself and then must have "un-done Riku" (Riku was in Hagi's old hand-me-downs).
And it hurts so much because the previous episodes before were so sentimental with Saya, Kai and Riku.

I really don't understand Hagi sometimes. Because Hagi can be so powerful but then so weak. In my opinion, he could have held his own against Karl anytime he wanted. Hagi could have even saved George too (but he let George get slashed).
But seeing him put some effort on Karl after seeing Riku's body makes up for some it.

Next episode looks like Kai got a little older and David's about to have a mental breakdown.

glad they are done with the filling new chevalier. (god i hated him)
Awaiting next episode with eager. If next episode takes place 1 year later i wonder what happened to the shif, they must all have died from thron by now . In a one year time i wonder what the journalist and Mao have become? that is one thing i like about that serie, it s the side story with character doing investigation and having a storyline on their own.

On a sidenote, rejoice those that appreciated this character, he got to know a woman before dying. (i know you may think it s a bad joke but... well i didnt like this character so...). Anyway his death has given a new face to the Diva, to me she is good vilain, and a for a good show you first need a good vilain (i think Hitchok used to say that or something).

Some thoughts on Kai after the trauma of ep.32...

...I think those people who predicted Kai would become the 'next' David must get a major boost from the preview. I can totally see Kai stepping into that role now, especially if David himself has all but given up after the complete failure of the Red Shield against Diva.

Riku dying (this time with no revival) means that we'll never get to see his chevalier powers. And since Riku is dead, Julia's research can't go further into why Riku's DNA is special. We'll never know why Riku can hear Diva's voice in the first place.
It's filler...unless...Diva somehow absorbed is DNA into her...all I can say to that is ILLLLL. I don't want to know the details.

seems diva is hell bent on taking away everything Saya loves Riku was the first kai seems to be next since in random curiositys summary she is considering giving kai her blood which would turn him into a diva chevalier. hmm how long will kai avoid any attempt by diva from doing that to him.

I think I've never seen a mainstream anime in which there would be such implied pedophilic act (a rape for Christ's sake!) nor strong violence against children to that point. I wonder how people would react in Japan to such disturbing implied stuff which for sure was worse than the days of the implied sex scene between Kira and Flay in Gundam SEED.

Poor Riku... Now I wish Saya will be glad to cut Diva into pieces, and f*** all the sympathy that was supposedly built on the latter's story. I was expecting for more when Riku became a Chevalier, but now we will never be able to see his powers; what a waste!

And what about the 5th nucleotide? I don't what will happen on that now since Riku was the only person to have that, and it could have served Julia in developping a new weapon to neutralize chiropterans.

If Diva has a child, then Saya has a big problem on her hands if the child is in part immune to Saya's blood.

edit: Anyway, that was probably the sickest thing I've ever seen in anime: raping and murdering a child. Too cruel for any audience I'll tell you, and there's enough stuff for the company to get sued by viewers.

The only thing we can hope for is for Saya to never back down and be ready to kill everything standing in her way to Diva - which means Collins, Van Argeno, Nathan, James, Karl, and Amshel. Hopefully there will be a bloody mess in each "assassination" that Saya will program as part of her revenge. (evil grins)

Maybe not sued, but I can easily imagine parents wondering whether their kids should be watching this kind of thing at 6 in the evening. It will be interesting to see if there is any negative feedback in Japan over this episode. On the flipside, this kind of thing is bound to attract more fans/viewers, not all of them welcome I might add, who have heard about the 'goings on'.

In fact, based on ep 32, I'm no longer wondering why Blood+ hasn't been snapped up for licensing yet. It could be that prospective networks and distributors know this will be difficult to market with this kind of controversial content. Especially for the price ticket Production I.G will undoubtedly attach to it.

Blood+ is already lilcensed by Sony, and so far chances are looking good of Adult Swim picking it up.
