The ability to find it - That is the great difference between a Normal, a Special, and an Abnormal.

So I guess nobody is interested in that Drama CD that comes with Vol.1? Or it's like that because nobody is going to translate it?

Well, I do want to hear it, of course. But I guess it's highly unlikely for it to get translated, just like the novels. If Nishio's starting to hand out bits and pieces of Medaka's/Kumagawa's history back in middle school though then it would be highly frustrating not to be able to know about it.

Maybe once/if raws begin showing up I'll just listen through it anyway. Alternatively, if we actually do manage to get raws on hand we could consider soliciting CxC; I guess anime/audio dramas are outside of their usual activities, but perhaps they might be willing to consider it.

Medaka box's cover for volume 16 is up on Jump's main website, it's so cute!!!♥ I really like it~ I was hoping the cover was going to have the student council on it since this was the last volume that they're all still a part of the council~ I got my wish! :3
my guess is that the next volume will feature the new council

TBF she got sealed by Kumagawa (with the same powers), though we don't know how but she was. So it's not exactly a proven impossibility to seal her. If it isn't revealed she was sealed willingly then maybe she wasn't by Kumagawa. Aijimu is a pretty awful character powerwise, she was going to get taken out inevitably. Whether willingly or not.

It has always been my most favorite, though I obviously don't think it'd the best manga ever. And we are getting another color next week~~

Poll results or just colour page?

Technically your interpretation of Aijimu is both right and wrong. She wanted to prove the world wasn't manga but she believed it was. So she attempted to do impossibilities (clearly not eveything but a lot of things) in attempt to find something she couldn't do. In order for this to work she actually need to be able to do anything in order to be proven to be right, even though she didn't want to be right.

This would all be completely pointless if Aijimu was passive, she had to try her hardest in order to do everything, otherwise the world could still be manga (as in she could do everything but never bothered to) but with her deluding herself it wasn't.

Basically she wasn't trying to prove herself wrong, she wanted to find the truth, she just hoped the truth would not be what she believed it to be.

Medaka Box is a manga that refuses to accept that it is a manga but it really is a manga.

Mangaception should be the name of the series now that the box is gone.
