i think there is enough stuff if they add some fillers that they can end in the current arc with the Hell Bull with a 12ep series.

As far as i know Bakemonogatari has no air date yet.

I assume Bakemonogatari is for spring since the novel is finished while Shina Dark is ongoing.. at least we'll have enough material once they get around to it...

I've been reading up, and it was never announced that this would be an adaptation. There was never a official announcement for it. The staff choices were just for the music video clips.

Anyone have any information regarding it?

At least there's some sort of news - a collection with full versions of all of the songs in the music clips is being released next month.

I was concerned when Omni didn't mention this one in his fall preview. Lo and behold, I find this topic and it turns out the trailer was a FUTURE TEASER?!

So, let me get this straight, there IS no anime, they just decided to go with Shina Dark, make a few anime clips from scenes that ppl picked from the manga, and be done with it, with no intentions of it becoming a TV series?

i always thought it was strange they want to do a anime at this stage. As there is only enough material for a 12 ep series with half of it fillers. I can wait for the anime as the longer it is the more material is available.

Like that's stopped anything before lol... Kannagi which started airing for instance just had chapter 34 come out iirc.

But Shina Dark has less than 20 chapters, and is just at the 4th volume, story's barely started.

Though I suppose the bull arc is a proper place to end the series with a resolution and hint of things to come... though that would mean that a S2 would have to wait another 3 years minimum.
