New Smash Bros. For Wii U And 3DS

Thinking "Super Smash Bros. Clash" has a nice ring to it. As for the handheld, it COULD work, depending on how they work with it. It also depends on what they decide to do with the Wii U that will dictate which version I purchase.

Half of what I do at a particular friends house filled with siblings is play Brawl to the extreme. The fact that I will need to wait even longer for a console version to play is quite saddening, really, more than it is frustrating. I'm sure there are plenty who'd like a handheld version.

Still laughing at all the hopes for characters completely and utterly unrelated to Nintendo. Snake was by far the least similar to others by series, but even then, weren't there nintendo MGS's?

- Elite Beat Agents (Assist Trophy)
- Chrono Trigger (Playable or Assist)
- Phoenix Wright (Assist Trophy)
- Megaman/Battle Network/X (Playable)


I'd also like Waluigi and either Isaac or Felix playable.... and I'd expect MUCH rage if Zero became the "Megaman" of this game too~

Elite beat Agents would definaly be a assist trophy XD same for phoenix. and they wouldnt be good ones either. because NPC's will see you and move perfectly as if nothing happened, thats why i hate the legendary pokemon stage and anything that effects with the vision of the game. it doenst effect npcs at the least...

I wish Ephraim would come. There are already two sword-users from FE, so a lance or axe would be nice.

I'd like some more characters from RPGs. Isaac from Golden Sun might be a good option. Crono of Chrono Trigger would be ideal imo, but it's an old game and possibly includes licensing issues. Still, older fans would probably appreciate his inclusion, were it legally possible. If we were to go the Final Fantasy route I'd want Auron as he's leagues and bounds above the other modern FF characters in terms of how interesting he is. But FFX is getting pretty old now, and he was a side character in the first place.

One of the Resident Evil villains would also be a potentially interesting choice (the heroes just don't really work in SSB, but some of the bosses might).

Of course, all the games I've mentioned were not made by Nintendo, thus they might not even be a possibility. On the other hand, I have no clue of the backroom dealings in the video game industry, so they very well could be doable.

Well, actually.... I kinda picture something like these going on...


Elite Beat Agents: They pop up and start dancing, while the cursors start going all over the map. Touching the cursors will send you flying like a bumper(?) or just deal you damage depending how close it is to the end of it's route (?). They wouldn't really block the screen~

Phoenix Wright: ... yeah, I kinda think it'd turn into a screen blocker as OBJECTIONS! are traded between Phoenix and Edgeworth~

I had my dreams crushed when Phoenix Wright didn't appear in Tatsunoko vs. Capcom, though there's a good shot he'll appear in a Smash Bros game. /me fingers crossed

This game is years away, probably should revisit it when the dev cycle for the game actually starts to roll out, but apparently, the team behind the game, is still recruiting, and have two games in the pipeline before including kid Icarus uprising, so don't expect this anytime soon. Le sigh. Guess it's back to the N64

I don't think Sigurd will work - how his horse is supposed to work anyway. Rather than more swordsmen from FE, I prefer one of the dragons/mamkute (whatever the spelling is) instead.

That said, yarn!Kirby and megaman will be great. Getting unique gameplay based on both chars seem easy. As for the wish list (that most likely won't happen), Megaten and Department Heaven pop up in my mind. Again, both series offer sth unique. Megaten can be summoner style similar to Pokemon Trainer and Dept. Heaven at least make great assist with buff/debuff cards from Yggdra/Blaze Union or having Knights in Nightmare's wisp summoning people like Taikoubou from the Jump Stars.

As much as I wish that would happen, all Nintendo starred CV characters are either too limited by not being able to choose from 100 different abilities, or too 'bloody' in combat. Though if anyone did come from CV it should be the Nintendo only Aeon character. Since Judgment sucked and he was the only good thing from it and his movelist is really easy to make, Aeon would be more likely to appear.

It's going to be such a long time until we hear anything about this game.

All of the speculation seems a little premature, but whatever. I am thinking that Isaac from Golden Sun better be playable this time around, and not just on the 3DS version.
