No it didn't. "EMOTION" is the label it's published under. Or in other words, the product line it's a part of.

About the episode preview. There's a bit of a cultural point regarding the spelling of "otome". We (or actually I) didn't note it within the episode, so here it is from the website:

Just watched the subs. Its hell hilarious until the part where you-know-what happened. Damn...I seriously miss Mai Otome....and I'm still sorta wondering why Haruka wanted to fix that horn-like thing to her 'shield'? LOL.....

Looks like lots of otome in the next OAV. I smell a very jumbled and half-assed ending. They're taking way too long to explain what's going on

I gotta say Sara is pretty cool in this episode, I'm really liking her character. The whole batman thing complete with batarangs heh. Although the stealth thing is pretty neat actually. Plus Sara has the luck of a goddess hehe, being able to just avoid the shot that woulda turned her to stone, and then having her surrogate turn off at just the right time that she lost her robe, which seemed to make the Fumi-Shadow lose interest in attacking her... At least that was my impression of what happened.

Yeah I found the episode to be quite entertaining but I think I'd enjoy it more if I knew that there would be more OVAs. There's really only going to be four?

Time to prepare for a rushed/unsatisfying ending.

Anyway, loved all the Haruka screen time.

I liked this OVA, it didn't really advance the story but it set things up so the story will progress more heavily in the following OVA's - shall we say the calm before the storm?
I actually liked Chie's element! the hat and cane worked for me.
Sara's robe was also pretty cool but we all probably could have guessed that

Looking forward to the next OVA - Nao and Nina-licious! On that note, it looks like nina (whilst wearing a crazy mask) is in her coral robe... I wonder why

I'm thinking we can probably tell what the thing is from out of space... it's the eye that they have that sort of makes me want to think that.
But looks like we all haveto wait and see

That's what I thought too but it's probably due to Haruka saving her in time. But in episode 1, Fumi still attacked Miss Maria who was de-materialized.

Oh no, I just noticed that at the end, the alien doesn't even regenerate Fumi's head! Headless Fumi.
